The restaurant was very appealing visually with art and chandelier. All of the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful – from the hostess, waitress, and who I assume was the manager. The waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions. The food was delicious no need to add seasonings. No complaints here. I will definitely visit again. I went to work and told my coworkers about it.

October 2025: Great restaurant with Cajun inspired food. We had the shrimp & grits, the jambalaya, and the Cajun Short Rib sandwich (in picture attached). I had the short rib sandwich and it was delicious! Service was great, Henry was our waiter and he gave us enough time to have our lunch meeting without interruptions. Ambiance was great, this restaurant is very well taken care of. This has come one of my favorite restaurants. I’ll come back for sure!

I went for the first time on my birthday this week, and it was so good that I went back two days later because I could not stop thinking about it! I had the same waitress both times, Gabby, and she was attentive and very friendly. This restaurant is now my go-to in Louisville.

My friends and I stopped in to this restaurant WIC for an impromptu birthday dinner. And when I tell you that this was the best impromptu food decision I’ve made in a long time. I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. The food was nothing short of spectacular. I mean everything I tasted was so delicious and yummy. I almost felt like we were visiting New Orleans. If you can get the trio sampler (sorry I didnt get a picture) and the bread pudding and thank me later.
On top of the food being DELICIOUS the staff was amazing . Gabby with the dimples was the sweetest, most patient server I’ve had in a long time. WHEN i go back I will ALWAYS ask for her.
The drinks were so good and I have to check out their happy hour next time. Im sure it wouldn’t disappoint. I will definitely be back more sooner than later.

The food was fabulous, not too spicy. Crab cakes were lightly breaded and the filling didn’t overpower the crab. The she crab soup was not heavy on sherry. I would have loved some lump crab, it had shredded crab. The polenta cake had a good balance of flavors. The Chong pizza was fantastic. The shrimp and grits were my favorite and enjoyed by all. And the sauce on the bread pudding was good enough to drink! Henry went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! Highly recommend!

Talk about fabulous! Went for fat Tuesday. Had crab cake for appetizer and it was almost the best I ever had. Good size (came with 2 patties) that my party couldn’t help but ‘try’ mine, they loved it, we’re still talking about it a week later. I had seafood linguine and I’m being honest, it’s the best I’ve had since I can remember. I’m becoming redundant lately by saying it’s the best I’ve ever had but, I really think it’s the best I’ve ever had. Like I said we’re still talking about it and planning another visit. It was fabulous. The atmosphere was just as I thought, New Orleans, Fat Tuesday, couldn’t ask for more. The staff was wonderful, very accommodating, very helpful, knowledgeable about the menu. I can’t wait to go again. Please get the crab cakes. You’ll thank me later. Big smile. My boyfriend said the bathroom was very small and not suited for the amount of people the restaurant has at any time.

This is by far the best restaurant I’ve been in, so far. Drinks were solid. The appetizers were very good. We had Kentucky oysters and garlic cheese bread. The main courses were amazing. We tried 4/5 desserts, and they were very good with the banana Foster cheesecake being amazing. I would definitely go and check it out.

I took my fiance here on a date. I’d never been, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I found was an outstanding restaurant. Although a bit pricey (what do you expect, it’s good dining), the atmosphere was great, the food was incredible, and the service was absolutely top-tier. Our server was Joe, who resembles Snoopy, being a “Joe Cool”. He was top notch- funny, knowledgable, and helpful. 10/10 recommend, we plan on coming back soon.

As a proud foodie, I was disappointed by this restaurant on a number of levels. To start with the positives, the restaurant itself is clean and beautifully decorated and the service is OUTSTANDING. Service gets 10/10. Where I was disappointed in was the food and the noise. The restaurant was so loud I could not hear a thing my girlfriends were saying at our small table. It was exhausting basically yelling the entire meal just so they could hear me. Lastly, the food was mediocre. The crab bisque was salty, the crab cake lacked seasoning and the texture was mushy. My caesar salad was delicious, however, it is not difficult to ruin a caesar salad. All in all, it was a neat place to check out however for the exorbitant price for mediocre food, I unfortunately will not be returning.

Lou Lou’s in Middletown was amazing. The employees here are the nicest. Our servers Casey and Melanie was the sweetest and the manager was also very welcoming . The bartender made me the best espresso martini
Everything is always so delicious. The best Hot Brown I’ve ever had.
One of the employees even ran out to our car to give us our hand sanitizer that we had left on the table, our first time there.
