I had some time to kill and noticed that the bar from “Halloween III: Season of the Witch” was right around the corner so I popped in. Had a good beer and was welcomed as a fan of the film by the bartender and several patrons who all encouraged me to come back at Halloween when actor Tom Atkins would be doing his annual Halloween appearance at the bar for “Drinks with Tom Atkins”. Apparently, several tour buses, bringing people to the bar as part of a Halloween movie site tour. Unfortunately, I won’t be around the area for Halloween, but it was great to stop by the bar amazing murals, Good beer and very friendly staff and patrons. He must visit place for horror, movie fans, but also a great place to get a drink in general. Check it out if you are in the area!

We came to this place since it was in the Halloween 3 Season of the Witch film. We came here on a bus tour and also for an event called Drinks with Tom Atkins. Very cool bar and they celebrate their place in movie history! If you’re in Sierra Madre, check this place out. We even got t-shirt souvenirs.

Shout out to the great bartenders – especially Ed – with the best old fashioned in town! But in addition they have good – and interesting – people there…A competitive digital jukebox and good prices on their drinks overall. A dive bar that’s got somethin for everyone. Best nights are Fri and Sat but Thu and Sun during football season isn’t too shabby either.

So went out to find historic and cool lounges. The Buccaneer did not disappoint. Movies have been filmed here and from the outside it looks super old school and frankly, it is. Back patio is gorgeous and comfy. Parking right out front too!

Very relaxing bar in heart of Sierra Madre. Plenty of local and street parking. Small bat with patio. Single large tv so Sunday NFL might not work but MNF or TNF would be just fine. They do t have food however there are many local options that you are allowed to bring in. We did the Mediterranean place which was right next door. Very convenient.
