Went to the Meltz location; they moved here from fairview. I have never been to the Chow public market place. Very interesting!
A live band was setting up when we were leaving. I wish we could have stayed to hear them play, however, still had appointments . Perhaps another time.
Food was delicious!!

Super fun atmosphere and such a great idea to put one big place with a bunch of smaller shops inside. Beer and wine selection at the bar and tried nachos from the taco place. Definitely going back! Good service and I want to try the Egyptian food.

While out to dinner with my grandmother, we stumbled upon Chow after realizing the Chinese restaurant next door was temporarily closed! But boy! Did we enjoy exploring Chow! Upon walking in we were marveled at the cleanliness and modern minimalist layout of the bar and surrounding eateries/gift shop. We decided to eat at Aladdin (the Egyptian cuisine). The menu options were good and the employees were friendly and helpful. I ordered a Falafel and my grandma ordered a Kabob. The name of the friendly employee that helped us is Jordan 🙂 The prices were affordable but in our opinion the quality of food was a direct relation to the price. I believe my Falafel dish was about $8 (tax included) and her Kabob was about $9.50. Considering my grandmother spent a good portion of her life in Cairo and had just recently visited, the food was somewhat disappointing but still alright. The do-it-yourself soft drink machine was a nice touch and we both enjoyed some diet-coke along with the custom flavors you can add. Definitely will visit again and bring a book! As there are comfortable couches, tables and seats to relax/study/read in. Boise is growing! And it’s a great place to be. Thank you Chow!

New place since the last time I was there, called bomb burger. they replaced the other burger joint That was there. I originally wanted wings, but unfortunately, she was out, my second choice, off the hook. This burger was one of those, “don’t bother me I’m eating” burgers and she’s got the amazing curl cut fries everything about it was great. She said she’ll have wings tomorrow night. I’m coming back. Also had a couple glasses of red wine. Their wine selection for a food hall was pretty complete.

This place is awesome! It popped up while I was away on business and I went for the first time today. There are a few restaurants inside, I had Goodburger. So good! One of the best burgers I’ve had, seriously.

I’m excited to try Aladdin Egyptian Cuisine next time. And if that’s not enough, they have 18 beers on tap!

It’s close to the interstate, close to Gowen Field, close to Edwards. Get in there and check it out.

The burger is ok. I paid $2.00 extra for a Kobe patty and couldn’t really tell the difference between my mushroom and Swiss burger and my husband’s OKC burger. The fries are yummy!

I really can not say enough good things about this venue. They were generous enough to let us host a gender reveal with 20 people. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. We purchased food and drink from several of the businesses…..everything was delicious! Thank you to Tamales Nelley for the amazing food…seriously some of the most authentic and delicious I have had!!!

There’s plenty of options to eat, drink, or shop here. This is 3 restaurants, ice cream, coffee, a spice and wine shop, a bar, and a gift shop that all share the same indoor common area. They have great food, great service, great atmosphere, and great music.

I didn’t know it was here for a while but ever since I found it I’m a regular visitor! This isn’t the spectrum’s latest attempt at copying the village, it’s a unique and awesome idea. I come here without even seeing movies now. Highly recommend it.

2025 Summer edit: It’s super hard to support this place because it will just randomly be closed
