Madison’s Restaurant and Bar is spectacular! If I could give them 10 stars I would!! The food was fresh and hot and delicious! Our server ( Makiah ) was delightful and attentive!! The owner/chef was a pleasure to meet! 10/10 would recommend and will be returning!

My friend and I went to Madison’s after she found where someone posted about the restaurant and that had just recently opened. We thought we would give it a try. WOW! The food was great! I ordered the taco flight having rib eye steak taco, salmon taco and a fried shrimp taco. The tacos were served with French fries. Everything was delicious! I will bring back ladies from our Dunwoody Newcomers Club for our monthly lunch in September. Our waitress, Ebony, was exceptional. She was very prompt in bringing our drinks and answering questions we had of the menu.

My wife ordered fish tacos with corn tortillas. (The menu indicated a choice of either flour or corn tortillas.) She requested corn tortillas because she’s gluten intolerant. The waitress brought the tacos with flour tortillas and said, “We’re out of corn tortillas.” Rather than using flour tortillas, the restaurant should have informed her and given her a chance to order something different. I think my wife should have refused the flour tortillas. But she didn’t complain.
Consuming a small amount of gluten would not normally cause her to have a reaction. But frequent intake of gluten would make her sick. She ate two of the flour-based tacos, and later that night she felt bad. Restaurants should be aware that gluten is not appropriate for some people. In fact, it can cause serious symptoms for some people.
Also, I requested a printed receipt, but was not given one.

We had a wonderful experience at the newly opened Madison Bar and Restaurant in Berkeley Lake! Even though they just opened their doors a few days ago, everything already feels warm, welcoming, and well-run. This is a true family-owned business, and it shows — we had the pleasure of meeting Charlie, one of the owners, who was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
We stopped in for an early dinner and were genuinely impressed. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, and the prices were very reasonable — a rare combo these days! While they’re still waiting on their liquor license, they plan to offer a full bar soon, which will be a great addition.
Their Grand Opening is coming up this Saturday, July 5th — definitely worth checking out. Support local and give them a try. You won’t regret it!

I hate writing bad reviews, BUT maybe these are bugs to be worked out that need to be heard. The chicken tenders were nothing more than fried batter — hard pressed to find any meat in those fried strings. The steak sandwich beef was inedible and tough…had to spit it out after chewing a while — the bun was just out of the package not toasted. The fries were good, but the Mac and cheese was just cheddar macaroni — kind of off tasting. Also, kind of pricey — $47 for a sandwich, tenders with two sides and soft drinks. We might go back and try something else in a few months. The decor and staff were great.

We had lunch there today. The fried green tomatoes were the best we have eaten. The mac and cheese was delicious. The Black and Blue Burger and the Madison Burger were delicious. We will be back soon.I absolutely loved everything.

First, posting a low star review is something that i really do not like doing, being a small business owner in the area. I think that it’s important to share my experience however.
My 87 yr old mother , that rarely gets out was very excited to have discovered this new restaurant. It was great to see her wanting to do something new and different. We really enjoy meeting and growing relationships with new businesses in the area. She requires the assistance of service dog to assist with her medical issue. The dog is small and trained very well. Not very noticeable.
We were denied service by the ownership. The restaurant only had one other table sat at the time and it was early. It broke her heart. We have been here since 1980 and feel like strangers in our own town.
I feel like it is illegal to deny services to people with legit reasons to have a service animal. We felt like we were treated rudely and in an unkind manner. We’re not angry but very disappointed in being treated this way in a city we helped build through the years.

All of the food was excellent and they have a really awesome vibe. Professionally trained chefs. They really care about your experience and make you feel welcome. Enthusiastically recommend.
