We absolutely love this spot for remote work! It’s got that perfect cozy vibe, plenty of space, great coffee, and our favorite part, the strawberry preserved toast. It’s such a delicate little treat and pairs perfectly with a latte while getting things done.
The couch sitting area is our go-to comfortable, relaxed, and ideal for long work sessions or casual catch-ups.

I just stopped here and got the Tiramisu Iced Latte. Absolutely DELICIOUS!! You need to stop in and try this before it’s gone! I believe it’s a Winter Special. Great service and atmosphere as well! Thank you for the lovely experience, Lamppost! ☕

I am completely obsessed with the Tiramisu Iced Latte here. I don’t even want to drink coffee at home because I crave it. Other than the delicious coffee everyone working here is very friendly. The lox toast is my favorite food they serve. There’s always seating and this is a great study spot.

Lamp Post Coffee is a nice space, but the experience doesn’t match the price. They impose a surcharge when customers pay with a debit card which is prohibited under the rules of major card networks. On top of that, the staff is loud ( last w. Brown hair and Glasses) often interrupts people who are clearly trying to work. Everyone is friendly, but the environment isn’t professional or respectful. It could be a great spot if they stopped the illegal surcharge and worked on keeping things quieter.

I was in town for a midday meeting, so I decided to get in early to get work done and not need to deal with traffics right before the meeting. I set up at Lamppost which had a nicely sunlit space with tables that had power strips strapped on or placed near outlets. I particularly liked the high ceilings. Staff was very friendly, coffee was solid, and I got to order breakfast and lunch. All solid food and typical coffee shop prices.

My first wife and I stopped in after dinner and had a cup of coffee. I had a mocha something and she had a coffee and we had a pastry that was delicious and the people are very fun and very nice. We enjoyed it. We’ll go back there. I’m moving to Hutto so I will go back there quite often and I highly recommend it to anyone in the Hutto area

I’ve just moved to Hutto, and I love the place, even though there’s very few coffee places nearby (and I love coffee).
This is not the first time at Lampost Coffee, so I thought it’d be worth dropping a review.
Lampost is a small coffeehouse chain with a few stores scattered around. The one in Hutto is located in one of the town’s historic buildings, which is beautiful. It has a great, relaxing environment. Perfect for reading, studying, chatting with friends etc.
The staff are nice, warm and welcoming, although the service can be painfully slow when there’s a bit of a line.
I like Cappuccino’s, but I’ve found theirs to be too milk heavy, so I opt for the Latte, which is creamy and smooth. I only wish they served it a little hotter (will ask next time).
Their breakfast sandwich is very tasty and worth the order. I’ve had it at least 3 times. Always good!
To sum up; tasty food, lovely ambience, amazing building and ok coffee.
I’ll be back.

Love this place!!! It’s my home away from home literally! The shop is cozy and inviting, not to mention the baristas always make you feel welcome. The drinks are always on point and love that they have seasonal menus. Something to look forward to as the seasons change.
