This was our first time at Guthrie’s. We enjoyed it! Great tasting chicken strips and fries. They only do strips and are good at it. My son is the chicken strip connoisseur and rates these right below Culver’s for the number 2 spot. We did the family meal, and there was plenty for the 4 of us. Clean, with friendly service, fresh cooked food, so it took a few minutes to get it but worth the wait.
We have visited several times now and always have a great experience and food. We will keep coming back! Great location.

We tried the box, and the manager lent us a little more to try what an excellent lady. The whole staff was great. The tenders seemed to be much better this time soft. I had passed on the place before, but I will be back the! Texas Tosst was soft and the fries were seasoned and cooked very well. The cash clerk was clear and mentioned the price of the sauce for more a up charge Zaxbies and CANES TRICK YOU THEN NAIL YOU LATER! Thanks for a much better cook. Enjoy the amazing crispy chicken plate! I was also impressed with the music and decor of the restaurant. They have inside and outside dining. You can by extra tender or buckets. Keep up the great food and service.

The chicken is good, but unfortunately I’m giving 1 star because the portions for the sides is comical!!! 14$ for a chicken meal that comes with about 5 fries & a literal teaspoon full of coleslaw!! I’m not joking! Look at my photo which has the serving of slaw adjacent to a bottle cap! It was literally only enough to fill my spork once! 1 spoon full of sides is beyond absurd! Especially for a 14$ meal! What are y’all thinking? I get bigger portions from Costco samples. I will never eat here again due to this fact! Consumers expect value for their money!

First and last time coming to Guthrie’s unfortunately. We dined in and the girl that took our order was sweet, but we told her we didn’t want coleslaw and substitute it with either fries or toast. We thought she was ringing it up that way while we were standing there, but when we got our food we both had coleslaw on our plates. Then we paid $33/35 for tenders that were literally 2 inches long, thin, and about 1.5 inches wide. We had and 1-2 “big” tenders and they were the only thing that tasted pretty good the sizes were very inconsistent. While sitting there the employees were talking loud and cursing about their work/personal life. We could hear just about everything for example we heard about a pregnancy test someone took. For them to only have 2 tables that were occupied (that’s including us) the place was relatively dirty, a lot of the tables had stains and smears on them and our table was the cleanest one we seen besides the crumbs on the seat. They had a cleaning product sitting out in the counter in the open for anyone to grab. Then the party of people that were in there with us literally reached around the counter to refill one of their drinks. The girl who took our order and theirs comes out and see them and laughs it off I guess she told them she was supposed to be doing that and the customer goes “oh my bad I didn’t want to bother yall” and the employee goes “oh no you’re good”. Safe to say they don’t watch what’s going on here and if they turn a blind eye to that then what else are they turning a blind eye too. Needless to say we won’t be coming here again or recommending it to anyone.

Best chicken around Canton for sure Guthrie’s is some gold ol fashioned southern fried chicken and this location is amazing, great atmosphere and you would think your in that other chicken place with all the Christian music playing.
Dont know if I like this location or the other one down the road better but I’d take chicken near a gas station over that music

I had an appointment nearby and was craving chicken tenders. I arrived to Guthrie’s at 10:34a; just after they opened. The service I received was pleasant + professional. My food was fresh, hot + delicious! It hit the stop on my long drive back to the city! I would absolutely visit again.

This is my 3rd time visiting this location and the fries are always soggy and cold. The chicken smells burnt because it was overcooked. My son and I both didn’t like it and it was way too expensive. I had to wait forever for my food at the window . I was the only customer this evening (drive thru and inside) same as last time also. We will not be back .

Stopped in for a quick bite yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Brian helped us and was very nice. As we sat down we noticed how clean and put together the place was. Brian brought our food and everything was fresh and hot. He even got our refills for us without having to ask. We listened as he helped people in the drive thru and gave everyone the same respect and patience, even when a young child placed their own order. The whole experience was better than in most casual dining restaurants now days. Ignore the people saying it’s dirty or whatever, I have never seen a fast food spot so clean.
