This restaurant is a true gem, and I had an amazing experience during my recent visit.
The Jamaican food that I tried was simply outstanding. The jerk chicken was cooked to perfection, and the seasoning was just right, providing the perfect balance of heat and flavor. The roti my friend had was also delicious and had a great texture, and the goat was tender and full of rich, savory flavor.
The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming, with an atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable.
I would highly recommend Island Jerk Caribbean Cuisine to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Caribbean food. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

Greeted upon entering the store with great smile. Curry goat and rice & peas is my favorite meal at this joint. I one no cabbage on this given day, Opt for Mac and cheese instead

The people are great. The food was really really good. A notch away from great but I can’t give it the 5th star. Chicken was flavored ON POINT but it was super dry at points. The rice and plantains were golden though. Nice people and good service. Final verdict is I’d totally come again and allow them to improve in their already good service for the 5 star future review.

I ordered a beef patty. The filling was dry and flavorless, and the pastry was hard. I came here once before,, and the Mac and Cheese was very tasty. Overall, this take-out joint is okay. There are much better Jamaican eateries out there , so do not go out of your way to eat at this one.

The food is not consistent. Beware of hidden costs. Idk, maybe its me. I feel like it i spend $40 – $50 and ask for 1 extra sauce, why would you charge me 75 cents. So you lose a customer for less than a dollar. This was one of the few times I didn’t get the usual attitude at jamaican spots, but when im spending a decent amount of money, why would you charge 75 cents for jerk sauce and not give as a courtesy. Just a thought.

Wow! I don’t know who was working today but they PACKED my plate! The people are also super nice and friendly. My mom and I always come here when she’s craving oxtail and I want some good chicken. The food is immaculate. I will always reccomend Island Jerk. <3

Won’t return…..I’ve been coming here since they opened because it was closer even though the females that work there are extremely unpleasant. I came in one day with no greeting from staff. Just someone asking me what I wanted to order. However, a white male entered right after me and the female smile, said Hi how are you, and asked how can I help you today. Now if this happened once I wouldn’t think too much about it, but unfortunately it wasn’t. I think bad service is expected at Jamaica restaurants but I’m extremely big on customer service so I won’t be returning. I

The women that work there are always unpleasant. No smile, no thank you, and just a sour face. I used to frequent there weekly and was planning a large catering order from them. However, after the continued bad attitude I have decided not to spend anymore money there and all the people I referred also stopped going because you feel like you are bothering them when you order. I hope they remember without customers your business is nothing. Lastly, I hope the owner sees this and hire pleasant people who enjoy working with a smile.
