It must be a new trend in restaurants to bring anything or everything out at the same time. Appetizers traditionally come out first and they give you a few minutes to enjoy. No way sushi should come out after a spicy curry, right? How are you to enjoy the subtle flavors once your pallet is wiped out by spicy curry. Maybe it’s just me and this isn’t a good fit. Hope other people have a better experience. I’ll pass on this place in the future.

This was our first time eating here. We stopped by for the lunch special and ordered Pad See Eew and Veggie Ginger. The food was delicious, and the portions were pretty big for the price. I really liked the sushi — the salmon was fresh and thick. We’re definitely coming back here again.

We came on a Monday night for dinner. The restaurant was half full and we were seated right away. They seem to have a large amount of take out orders, which is great for them. We ordered, and food came out in about 12-15 min. The veggie sushi was fine but not amazing. My partners noodle dish was tasty. The bill was very reasonable.

We loved the food and the ambiance at Dozika. Nicely decorated in vintage american style (not Japanese). I loved the lunch special with eel, I actually got a good amount of eel in the bowl, delicious! Service is great.

What a lovely charm in Evanson. My friend and I sat at a booth table by window and we had a lovely time there. The appetizers and Ramen were delicious. Love the decor and it is so cozy! Will definitely come here again!
