The place was empty, yet somehow the tables were dirty. The mango salsa was pretty good, but the sandwiches were lukewarm and the bread was bland. The dessert sticks were interesting at least. We have no reason to go back here.

My husband’s family is Filipino and we are always looking for/hoping for Filipino food but can never find any (unless we make it ourselves). We’ve tried Rook downtown Indy but it was not the same at all. We heard about Bay Area Bistro and were so pleasantly surprised! We tried ordering from Grub Hub to get take out, but when we picked up our food, we were told it would be best just to text our order next time. Everything is made by hand- even the lumpia! The menu is small but changes weekly, which is awesome- you know it will be fresh and you can always get something different. Such a gem in the middle of Fishers! Unfortunately we live on the south side of Indy, but we would totally make the trip up for this! The halo halo was sooo good!

Love the food. Very delicious. When you order a sandwich you get two large sandwiches. Owners are wonderful and very friendly. I bought my son along. He is a very pickey eater and he loved it. He enjoyed talking to the owners and learning more about the Philippines

Oh my goodness these smoothies are AMAZING! You can actually taste the real fresh fruit. I loved the strawberry mango the best but the Orange taste like a creamsicle (that was a close second). I highly recommend you check it out… and then go back the next day like we did.

Me and my Filipino girl friends decided to try their place because it was highly recommended and we were not disappointed. True Filipino cuisine! We ordered beef tapa or tapsilog, halo-halo, which is simply delicious, lumpia, super crunchy lechon kawali, and pansit. Everything was super masarap. Place is clean, friendly host, Troy. They do not serve same food everyday except the staples like tapsilog. Surely a go to place for Filipinos and those who love our cuisine. Will be back with my barkadas again!

Just ate Bay Area Bistro for the first time – The food was stellar! I recommend the BBQ sandwiches, but bring a date with you as they come in pairs and are pretty big. Great people, great environment, great food. I highly recommend, as there is no where else like it in Fishers!

Quite enjoyed the Shakes. However the food wasn’t the best. We got the fried pork which was over fried. Seems the prices also came from the Bay area as well. Not many Filipino places so am a bit disappointed.

If you’re looking for something different and delicious try Bay Area Bistro off 116th St. in Fishers. Real Filipino cuisine, lovingly made and generously served. We loved the Pancit (a Filipino noodle dish), the Lechon Kawali (crunchy pork) and the Halo-Halo (sort of a fruity milkshake) are all wonderful!
