Had a great experience for dinner at the Blue Spoon! It’s a very cosy atmosphere, not many tables so would recommend reserving a table most nights. Super friendly staff, they had some extra pork belly so the chefs made us an impromptu app of crispy pork belly and pureed beets that was delicious. Pasta was made fresh and delicious and the salad with pork lardons and runny egg was a sleeper dish that was awesome.

Best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had… And that’s my go to for brunch, so I’ve had a few! I got the ham+spinach and the slightly garlicky spinach puts it over the top! Awesome place with great ambiance and service. Will definitely be going back next time we’re in town! Highly recommend it!

Wonderful dinner… with kids! Lindsay, our server, was amazing. The food was refreshingly normal yet exquisite. Plus we walked in with no reservations on a Friday night. The atmosphere is COZY, yet romantic. My wife was walking on air after this meal.

We visited Blue Spoon on NYE and the restaurant was busy yet cozy and intimate- exactly what we were looking for! The food was amazing! Ricotta beignets were incredible and so was the pork belly! We also loved their espresso martini! We had pleasant service although the waiters seemed a bit like they’ve had enough for the day – given they were open till midnight- is totally understandable! I would absolutely recommend!

I stopped in for a egg and cheese on english muffin. The staff managed to juggle multiple customers at once, allowing me to be seated quickly. The breakfast sandwich was outstanding as it included a homemade english muffin, fresh eggs and tomato, nice flavorful cheese and avocado. The iced cold brew coffee was excellent as well. I’ll be eating there again.

We had a beautiful time at the Blue Spoon. The staff was professional and kind. The food was so good. You can tell that the chefs love what they do. For someone who doesn’t care for cooked carrots, the roasted carrots were out of this world. What a great dining experience in such a cozy environment.

My wife and I had the most wonderful experience at The Blue Spoon on Saturday evening. We arrived for 8pm and while our table wasn’t ready due to previous guests having an extended stay, we were offered a seat at their precious little bar. Lindsay was our server and she was fabulous. She was gracious, knowledgeable, engaging, warm and attentive. Five courses later, a few glasses of wine gone and the restaurant fading into the night we left with one the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Thank you Blue Spoon!

We have traveled to many states and are always happy to find a small restaurant with good food to support. We looked at the reviews and pictures and were excited to dine at the Blue Spoon. We were very disappointed. The menu is limited without any hearty dishes, except for a burger and mussels. The light fare was fresh, but over salted. The drinks were okay, but were light on the spirits.
The location, atmosphere and staff were great. It’s a great location and sweet little restaurant. Maybe we visited on an off day.

We used to live in Portland’s Munioy Hill and regularly ate at the Blue Spoon there. We were thrilled to hear that it had reopened in Midcoast Maine. The new location does not disappoint! We had one of the most enjoyable dinners we’ve had in quite some time- the service was impeccable, the food was absolutely delicious, classic Bistro fare, and the ambiance was incredibly lovely. We will be back soon!!

Blue Spoon was an amazing dining experience, and I would definitely return in the near future. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was what really sold it for me. Blue Spoon has a very warm, cozy, and intimate feel to it and it all has a personable vibe to it. Anyways, for my dining experience, I am very happy that they managed to fit 11 of us into the restaurant within the same day. Hope was our server and she was phenomenal from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Despite being seated somewhat close to closing time, there was no pressure for us to leave from the staff (but we made sure to try to leave as soon as we could) and we greatly appreciated Hope and the kitchen staff for all of the hard work they put in to make this experience an unforgettable one
