Brother Andrés, a Pittsburgh-original coffee shop, has officially opened its new location in Bellevue—and it’s more than just a café. This mission-based coffee shop provides meaningful work for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, creating a space where they can share their joy with the community. As an outreach of Move a Mountain Missions, they serve Christ through their work while also serving up incredible coffee, homemade baked goods, high-quality clothing, drinkware, and gifts.
During my visit, I tried their March special latte—Luck of the Irish—a smooth café latte with Irish cream. I also had to try one of their most popular treats: the snickerdoodle cookie. It was absolutely delicious—soft, fluffy, and perfectly coated in cinnamon sugar.
Beyond the amazing food and drinks, what truly stood out was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Brothers’ Andrés is not just a coffee shop; it’s a place filled with purpose, positivity, and incredible people making a real difference. Loved my experience and the impact they’re creating!

I’d give it 10 starts if I could!! I just tried this coffee shop for the first time, and I’m definitely going to become a regular! The atmosphere is lovely, peaceful, and uplifting. Everyone is so kind and sweet, and the coffee is delicious! I got the honey latte and expected it to be decent, but it was SOOO GOOD!!! I can’t wait to come back and try the food 🙂

Thank you KMan for the delicious bagel breakfast sandwiches. We placed an online order and our food was hot and ready promptly. The cafe is located in the basement of the church with a lot of signage directing where to go. Can’t wait to go back.

I went to the new assumption church location in Bellevue and what an incredible experience! I used to work downtown and visited the Pittsburgh location several times a week. The breakfast sandwiches are incredible and the cold brew with foam is better then you’d get at a Starbucks and Dunkin. Not to mention the staff and mission! What a wonderful place. I will be back. Thanks Matt for a warm welcome back to one of my favorite cafes

We can’t wait to go back. My kids loved their cookies, especially the delicious gluten free cookie! The Americano that Derek made me was perfection and he so kindly delivered it right to me. We are thrilled to have this shop in our neighborhood.

Highly recommend stopping here. Brother Andre’s employs adults with IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities). If you come around enough you really get to know the people and it feels like family! The best coffee shops around! They also have a downtown café next to PPG Paints.
