I was back in the area to visit family and wanted to revisit Chowan county where I spent time as a young person. This is also part of my quest to visit all 100 counties in NC.
I’m so glad I picked up some snacks from this bakery to enjoy once I got back home! The mini pies were AMAZING! Edit – the hazelnut filled cookies are VERY full of the filling and are lovely.
There were SO many things I wanted to try and the prices were reasonable. My only wish is that the macarons had been available individually instead of in packs of three as I would have liked to have tried a variety of flavors.

The girl was super nice & friendly. Cinnamon rolls were hot & fresh – out of this world good, very delicious! The muffins were moist & great as well. Will be back when we’re in town again.

The treats are divine! We stopped in one morning during our visit and were wonderfully surprised at the array of delicious goodies. The owner was there working right along with her team and was ready to provide suggestions and welcome us. Bravo for your hard work and dedication to make downtown Edenton so charming!

This is an spotlessly clean and delicious bakery. They have everything from different homemade breads and many various baked goods. We have tried the cupcakes, beautiful and delicious. The cinnamon rolls are out of this world. Also the selection of cookies would please anyone. My family and friends love to come here to bring home delicious goods.

I had my bachelorette party in Edenton, and booked a private reception for myself and my guests at The Patisserie at Edenton Bay as part of the festivities. I worked with Lynn to create a wonderful menu of appetizers and treats, and she also offered several wines for purchase. It was so wonderful and a highlight for all from the bachelorette party evening! Looking forward to future visits during future Edenton trips.

The almond and strawberry lemonade were both on point. The cake was moist and dense, yet light. The frosting was thick and not sickeningly sweet. Perfect ratios. The service was great and they seem to change their items often. We will be back to try the ice cream cookie sandwich!!

Walked in to this quaint bake shop & was greeted by Kim who is as sweet as the goodies in the shop! She told me all about the delicious creations made by Lynn & I walked out with 3 incredible confections- a brown butter pound cake, frosted lemon cookies & a pastry made with nuts & honey. Absolutely delicious! Don’t leave Edenton without stopping here!
