What a great stop for dinner. We were passing through from a road trip and wanted anything but fast food or gas station food and this place served us well. It was only three minutes off the highway and conveniently enough a gas station was across the street so we checked off all our boxes with this stop before hitting the road again.
The lady working the register was over the top with the just roght amount of charm and hospitality.
We asked a few regulars what was good and they were right! The Phillies were so good and the potato salad was the best we have had in years.
You can call and order ahead or dine in. For just getting there at 7:30 pm, the place wasn’t too busy but the flow of customers was steady and well maintained. Serving sizes were great.
I wish I had enough room to try their cake but I was too full!
Clean and fun for kids while waiting for their meal.

I got the pulled pork plate with coleslaw, potato salad and onion rings. The onion rings were the best I’ve ever tasted! The pork was fantastic! We got dessert to go. The sweet lady behind the counter overheard us trying to decide on a flavor. I picked the banana cake and my mom picked the caramel. To our pleasant surprise, she added a small slice of each flavor on top of the generous portion for us to share! Thank you for such sweet southern hospitality from a native Floridian.

The restaurant appears clean, the staff are friendly. The food was ok.
I tried the Philly Steak sandwich & BBQ nachos. The Philly had a good taste to the steak. It was a little lacking on the peppers and onions and cheese. Also seemed a bit dry to me.
The BBQ nachos certainly needed more cheese and BBQ sauce. The meat was ok, but needed sauce. It didn’t have that smokey flavor or any crisp edges like you may expect from BBQ.
Don’t get me wrong, it was all still good. And like most places, little quirks that if you go regularly you’re able to adjust for. Just a note to add sauce to your order maybe, or request extra peppers & onions.
I will try them again at some point and hopefully remember these things next time. Definitely not giving up on them.

Ok get it started with what I ordered. There called the jumbo ribs what they were enormous I’ll tell you that. They were delicious l, mouth watering and just the right amount of barbecue sauce. second there baked beans were very very delicious as well strongly recommend them to any baked bean lover’s. Last but not least was there coleslaw which I was Not to fondle about it. Gonna b honest about it and here it goes it’s just tasteless, plain could of used more taste. But that’s My opinion, other may beg a defer. Other than that I will come back when ever I’m in town delivering. Two thumbs up. Strongly recommend it to everyone

Literally the worst bbq I’ve ever had in my life. We waited 30 minutes for our order and everything was cold. The pulled pork tasted like it was soaked in water, absolutely no seasoning and no smoke. My fries were cold and stale like they’d been refrigerated. The pecan pie was good but the food was disgusting. I will never ever visit this establishment again.

Really enjoyed eating here. You go in order your food at the front and then they will bring your food to the table. Would recommend the cheese plate. It was very enjoyable and had enough on it to be a meal by itself. The atmosphere was great, and the train going around and around the entire building was very entertaining to my kids. Especially my one year old. He kept saying pig because they had a stuffed pig riding on one of the box cars. The food came out fast and fresh. They have a different array of BBQ sauces for you to try as well. I got the Philly Cheesesteak because we had BBQ the day before, so I wanted to try something else, and it didn’t disappoint, and the fries were cripsy as well. Then, if you’re not full enough from all that food, you must try the pineapple cake. It was amazingly good. Definitely will be going back

Was greeted by staff upon arrival. They were friendly and courteous. Food was great. Had the BbQ pork platter and it was delicious and filling. We brought dessert home and it was outstanding. We had the coconut pie and the Banana cake!! Will definitely return and highly recommend.

I can’t write a review on the service or the atmosphere because I’ve never actually been to this restaurant. However, we have been ordering Westside barbecue cakes for years through our local food service for our restaurant In Missouri. We even order them for our families, special get-togethers. The chocolate cake is my absolute favorite. Westside barbecue is about 4 1/2 hours away from us and I’m very tempted to get in the car and drive to try out the rest of their menu. Hands-down, best cake I’ve ever had in my entire life!!

Ordered the full rack of ribs, Baked Beans, and potato salad to go. The ribs were almost life changing. They practically jumped off the bone into your mouth. They tasted heaven sent. They would make any Texas BBQ place want to knife fight to the death for these ribs. The baked beans and potato salad were awesome. I had to have double orders of both.
