First of all, it’s not the Five Star Diner anymore, it’s El Quetzal Family Restaurant. The food was ok, not great. The server was lovely but spoke little English so communicating needs was a bit tricky. Prices were good.

A new place for me. I was starving and I wanted a home cooked meal. Alison let us sit where we wanted, a nice red booth. She was friendly and helpful explaining the menu and the Cantaloupe juice! My chicken was seasoned perfectly and melted in my mouth. The vegetables were chunky and plenty – just what I needed.
My daughter enjoyed her meal as well. We want to come back for breakfast.

Fast and friendly service. Generous portions. The food is fresh made to order and absolutely delicious. The prices are very reasonable especially for the portions. The food is American food with a Spanish flare and also authentic Mexican food as if you were in a restaurant south of the border.
I am out of work due to the pandemic and on a tight budget but I already can’t wait until next week when I can order again.
