i’m not even joking this is the best sushi that has ever graced my lips. The quality of the fish is always so fresh that whenever i eat fish elsewhere, i’m immediately disappointed. they even pay attention to the little things like, how perfectly ripe the avocado is on the house salad, and how the proportion of fish to rice ratio is always on point

I’m glad to have chosen this wonderful nice cozy atmospheric with amazing food. The innocent roll & good for you roll were delightful. I ordered the hibachi sirloin and shrimp which was delicious. The sweet shrimp was real good. And the nice waitress recommended me the green tea fried ice cream which was spectacularly fresh and tasty! My favorite was good for you sushi rolls.

It was an awesome experience with this restaurant. The staffs were amazing and very professional and that goes without a question on the food being served. They were always on top of it. There was no down time, foods were swiftly prepared and served. The food was amazing and fresh. The quality of the cooked food and freshness seafood products (sushi and sashimi) are closely resembles to michelin restaurants we were have been to.

Absolutely amazing experience! The food tastes incredible and you can really tell the ingredients are extremely fresh. The sushi is flavorful, beautifully presented, and melts in your mouth. Everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Japanese food. We will definitely be coming back!

The fish is delicious, fresh and the quantities are great. The prices are affordable as well, a bargain for the quantity given. This is one of the best sushi places in central Jersey. I came for the lunch special and dinner, and was satisfied both times. The special rolls, salmon, yellowtail, tuna, eel and shrimp rolls are all good. I will be coming back.

I wish the old owners were still there. I ordered $100 dollars worth of sushi and the only ginger and wasabi is what’s in the sashimi container. This is poor quality of service. What are they thinking to not include the basics of every other sushi spot in this country. Very very disappointed. The food is ok and seems fresh but I won’t be ordering from here again, unless the old owners come back
Update- after eating their Konbu roll I’m bringing this down to one star. It was supposed to have whole fish in there but instead it had chopped up tuna that tasted off. If I’m spending this much I want quality. This place did not come through. Sad that they have tarnished the old Konbu name by selling bad food

Went with my daughters today for lunch. The service was outstanding. My daughter dropped a chopstick and before she got up from picking it up the waitress already had another pair brought over. The food is so fresh and yummy. I had the sashimi lunch. So soft and delicious. My daughters each got 2 rolls. All were stuffed to the edges and so yummy. Highly recommend.
