The chips were homemade and perfect. The queso was one of the best I have had. The sopes were good as a vegetarian one but I ordered fish on them. It was on it but didnt have flavor. The other members of our party loved the steak, cauliflower, chicken, and potato tacos.

Food was delicious and love the vibe. If you’re sensitive to spice, you might want to get menu recommendations because nothing in the food descriptions mentions spice levels and some of it was hotter than expected. I am vegetarian and was so happy to have 3 taco options! Lots of fun cocktails and mocktails too. We liked it so much we went twice during our 4-day trip to Milwaukee.

Love this place! Best tacos in town and the prices are great. Our server was a doll and made our experience memorable. If you’re in town visiting or have lived in Milwaukee your whole life you definitely need to make time to check out electric lime. Location just topped everything off! Chefs kiss!

We had a party at Electric Lime over the weekend. They have a beautiful party room with its own bar and they also reserved two high top tables for us right outside the main party room. The food was outstanding with so many different options and the servers kept refilling the food table, so no one ever was hungry! Our two servers Annalee and Finley we’re wonderful. They work so hard and always had a smile on their face. You could really tell they took pride in the work and wanted everyone to be happy which we really were. They also had a DJ playing great music which added to the atmosphere. Thank you to Jess for arranging everything and making it a fantastic party.

I could not say enough good things about this place! My new favorite restaurant in Milwaukee!
Electric Lime has always been outstanding- their brand new location is premium in the Lower East Side near Cathedral Square.
The atmosphere is to perfection! A wide open spice, the interior is the definition of downtown chic. My favorite table was sat next to wall of windows that open up, it’s the most welcoming ambiance and the music choice is upbeat and inviting!
The staff gives top tier service. They are friendly, attentive, and you can tell they are happy to be there! They make you feel like they know you and go above and beyond to make the dining experience special!

My fiancé and I had first came here for a date night. He had gotten the nachos, and I the carne asada (steak) tacos! The portions are incredible, and every bite is so savory! We were fortunate enough to have Jess our first time dining here. Our experience was so incredible, I took myself out the next night and treated myself to all her recommendations!
You cannot go wrong with anything you order: the guacamole is made fresh to serve, and the chips are like a crispy, airy cloud! Pictured above is the guac with a carne asada quesadilla. The quesadilla is on another level; it’s a luxury take on the recipe! Nothing else compares to their Pina Colada recipe either— it tastes like paradise.
You can tell everything here is freshly made order and you cannot go wrong with anything!☺️
They have options for all! From cocktails, to mocktails, vegetarian options, nearly everything is gluten-free, nut-free, very considerate of allergies, and made from scratch! You can tell there was so much thought and intention put into the menu.

Electric Lime is an absolute gem in downtown Milwaukee, and I highly encourage anyone and everyone in the area to check this place out! This is my new go-to spot, and cannot wait to take my friends/family here for more dining experiences!☺️

My phone could not eat first with these food pics
An absolute staple and I cannot wait to come back!

This place is about to blow up this Summer in MKE. We happened upon Electric Lime on Wednesday looking for tacos after a session at the climbing gym. Everything in walking distance was closed so we ventured to Cathedral Square to Electric Lime which apparently had just opened to the public the night before.

The decor, music, and presentation of the menus got us off to a great start and our server Sara answered all of our questions but also gave us time to breathe and go over our options. We didn’t have cocktails but the drink menu was expansive and prices seemed reasonable for the place ($11-$15).

For food we ordered the Quesabirras ($17 Wednesday special) which were loaded with tender goat, melty cheese, sharp cilantro, and light but crispy tortillas. The dipping broth was slightly spicy and really took this dish up a notch. We also ordered elotero aka street corn ($9) with a side of chips and the shrimp cocktail ($17). The chips were clearly house made, light, and buttery like the tortillas and I was told by my dining partner the shrimp dish was excellent, fresh, and had an ample protein portion.

Partway through our meal an individual, Jess, who ended up being the owner came over and chatted with us about her inspiration for the restaurant, the story behind the kitchen staff, and the vibe she was going for. I could tell she has a passion for this business, and she will be rewarded for her hard work.

This place is definitely trendy and I will admit I felt underdressed having come from the gym but none of the interactions with the staff ever made me feel anything but comfortable and welcome.

We were told there is a stage in the back and there are plans to have live music. This place is going to kill it once the word gets out and they can open those patio doors to Cathedral Square.

UPDATE: I guess the taco Tuesday was just for opening night. Now it’s only a rotating select taco that is $3 on Tuesdays. We probably won’t be back as this wasn’t communicated effectively. What’s the point of a taco Tuesday if only one taco is on special?! This also isn’t very friendly to people that are pescatarian or meat-free.

It’s FINALLY open again! The new location on Jefferson is nice and trendy! Taco Tuesday is back, with every taco on the menu being $3. I definitely recommend the salsa or guacamole because the homemade tortilla chips are amazing. The corn tortilla tacos are great. I think 3 is enough, but maybe 4 if you’re really hungry. The favorites from our group were the pork taco and the avocado taco. I also couldn’t pass up the hibiscus daiquiri. Yum! The service was nice and attentive. We’ll definitely be returning!

Cute place, gives real vibes of their old location. The food is decent, if a bit light on spices and seasoning. It feels like when a really nice white lady from Whitefish Bay invites you over for Etsy Taco Night. It isn’t bad at all, it’s just that she considers black pepper the best spice

The queso dip isnt actually queso, it’s black bean dip with cheese melted on top. The vegan chorizo is only noticeable because you know that normal chorizo doesn’t taste like it’s only spice is sweet cumin.

The elote is good but the seasoning is lost

The tacos are good too – definitely high quality ingredients, but the main seasoning is “sautéed vegetables and sweet pickled flavors”

The drinks are great though. Ironically, they were the spiciest things on the menu

After being closed for two years to relocate, Electric Lime has reopened and is better than ever. Although this was my first time here, it won’t be the last. They get it right here, from the food, drinks, decor, and atmosphere. And it’s women-owned! I dined with a friend and we both raved about how good it was. We each got three tacos. I ordered the shrimp, steak, and carnitas. I’m still deciding what’s my favorite between the three. I would eat 50 in a sitting if I could. I also got a piña colada to wash it all down. To end the night, we split some churros, which were fabulous.
