The pizza is consistently excellent. The crust has that perfect balance — crisp on the outside, soft and chewy inside — and it’s clear they make it fresh. The sauce has real flavor (not too sweet or overpowering), and the toppings are generous and evenly spread. You can tell care goes into each pie. I tried a combo pizza and it came out hot, perfectly cooked, and absolutely loaded with flavor.

We ordered the potato pizza and the garlic Alfredo. Both pizzas were delicious and cooked to perfection. The garlic was my personal favorite, but I did love the potato, and I’ve never had one before! I definitely do recommend both pizzas though! I’ll definitely be returning to try more and possibly get the same ones 🙂

We usually go to the restraint on Southway because we love their food. We had company from out of town and decided to order it delivered. We had been telling even bragging to our guest what great pizza Southway has. When I called the recording said we had to order from the store on Thain because we live in Clarkston Heights. I Ordered 2 pizzas and they said 30 minutes. They delivered at about 50 minutes which didnt bother me at all about the time except the pizza was not even luke warm. That was the good part, the pizza was terrible. Nothing tasted the same the crust was doughy and limp, nothing tasted right and the sauce didnt taste right and just edible at best. Very embarrassing to tout a place so much and be so disappointed. We were worried Southway/Happyday had changed their recipes. We went to the Southway ave store and ate in recently, and so happy it was just as delicious as we remembered. I have no inclination or desire to EVER get pizza at the Thain store again.

I went to this location on 1/30/26. Not only did the young man get my order correct of 3 ranch and traditional wings swimming in extra sauce. Ben was so nice, east to talk to, and that smile was to die for . it was around 8:47pm.

I gave two stars because the pizza we ordered was the loaded potato and they forgot the bacon. It was very boring. There was not a lot of toppings on this pizza so forget the bacon was pretty outstanding. Would not order again!

I ordered two XL pizzas online and they were ready exactly on time. The gal who greeted me was very friendly and efficiently retrieved my pizzas and asked if there was anything else I needed. The pizzas were perfectly baked and tasted wonderful. The only thing I might ask for next time is for the pieces to be cut a little smaller.

We went in for the free slice. I expected a half of a slice. That wasn’t the case they handed out the same portion they serve for the lunch slice (it is rather large). Super tasty and hot.
