Cozy neighborhood pocha in San Leandro with happy hour from 5-6:30pm and super friendly staff. Rose tteokbokki with pork belly was a standout.

Husband and I stumbled upon this soju bar in San Leandro after looking up Korean comfort foods on Yelp, and we stopped by for dinner on a Thursday. It’s located in the same neighborhood as Kaisen Don, but just down the street. Their french fries were ridiculously delicious, like McDonalds fries but SO tasty! The rose tteokbokki was incredibly delicious, and the sauce was so good I could have drank it. The pork belly plate was super scrumptious and pairing our food with Korean Terra beer was an excellent choice. A+ spot, will definitely be back to eat and drink more with friends!

Awesome place. Small and intimate. Korean with a focus on street food, so has some really great comfort food options on the menu. Happy hour is until 630pm for $2 off of drinks and a rotating selection of appetizer deals.

Charming little restaurant tucked away in a quiet neighborhood spot. Small menu highlighting Korean small dishes. Full bar with sports on monitors and k-pop on speakers. Owner Melanie is absolutely adorable and makes you feel welcome and totally at home. Fried chicken wings were perfect accompaniment to soju. Amazing hidden gem in San Leandro!

I keep eating here. It must be love.
Favorite spot for Korean food in San Leandro. The Tokpoki is a must have. The rice cakes they use are perfectly tender and chewy and the flavor creates a party in your mouth.
Drinks are delicious, creative and fun. I love that they have a bar because it really allows for a drink experience beyond the menu.
The owner is so kind and welcoming. Amazing service. Promptly greeted, checked in on regularly, and answered all questions about the menu, even made some accommodations for us.
The ambiance is so cute! Really transports you too a late night bar and comfort food feel.

Food was delicious! We got the tokpoki, fried gimbap, and corn cheese. Next time I’ll try the Rose tokpoki which has pork belly and little bit of cream. We opted for take out, but the atmosphere inside is really nice and well designed, also plenty of parking spaces. Owner was super friendly and the chef did a great job with the food and take out prep.
