Very good Indian restaurant. We try to stop here when traveling.
The last time here I tried the Chicken Biryani and it was very flavorful. The Chai tea was well spiced also.
This visit I had the mango juice, papadum and hot tandoori chicken. All was delicious.

Little India was just average. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either. I was craving some samosa chaat so decided to stop by for dinner. We ordered Saag Paneer and Chicken Makhani. The Chicken Makhani was good but I found the Saag Paneer to be very dry. The spinach seemed to be over puréed so it didn’t have texture, thus tasting like a paste. The garlic naan was good but lacking in garlic. The waitress was nice and brought our food in a timely manner.

I don’t know if the place deserves more, but the taste was okayish. Maybe I am being picky, but the sambhars/daal are good and rest seemed to be bland to me. Being in Charleston, you get to visit it as might be the only authentic Indian restaurant there.

Wait staff is always friendly, the food is great. On saturdays and sundays they have a buffet, and they have a desert called Mango Pudding. If you get a chance definitely try it -it will change your outlook on life

I just moved here and I’ve been looking for good Indian delivery. I might have inflated expectations based on Indian I’ve had in other cities. The food tasted good overall but it took over an hour and a half to get delivery. Plus there was a $5 delivery charge and I tipped. For the price, the portions were tiny. So, if you want to eat here, I recommend you get take out instead of delivery and don’t expect to have leftovers.

At here for the first time for lunch this past week. I’ve had better Indian food, but it’s what you would expect from a buffet. If they have a take out option I would definitely prefer that, as I never eat enough from a buffet to make it worth it. My meal partner reported a lot of bones in the goat meat. Friendly wait staff.

I know the place closes from their lunch buffet at 3 pm and I got there at 2 but the buffet options looked horrible. Maybe they should have used smaller chafing trays to refresh the food more often. The more unappetizing options looked like they had been out under the heat lamps for hours, one dish had all the visual appeal of dry dog food barf.
I and my family tried the buffet anyway but unfortunately none of us liked the food. The flavors were far too bland or the seasoning choices just didn’t work for us.
The staff were reasonably attentive but no wasn’t expecting much during buffet time. They could have paid better attention to their tableware as my knife had a very prominent bend in it that would have been immediately visible to them but they were with in too much of a rush assembling the silverware sets or didn’t thing it would be an issue.
We had high hopes too as it was even more highly rated than the other restaurant that I had eaten at before Sitar of India which I do like (they had just closed their lunch buffet at 2pm to set up for dinner which was why we didn’t go there).
I’m hoping their rating was for their menu items not their buffet but sadly I can only.speak from my experience and it wasn’t good.

Heck yes this food is fantastic! The buffet is a little small and they are a bit understaffed but my family always makes an effort to eat here whenever possible! The hot food is spicy and fantastically flavorful! The mango chicken is to die for! And the best part of the meal is when the sizzling spicy chicken is taken out of the kitchen. Fantastic naan, fantastic food, when it comes to indian food, this is top of the line cuisine.

Probably the worst Indian food that I have ever paid for. The rice was extremely dry and bland. I would bet money that it was reheated in the microwave from the day before. The chicken in my curry was very dry as well. Again, it had the reheated in the microwave texture. The portion sizes are small and the price is high. I will avoid this restaurant from now on.
