After seeing all the videos of people enjoying these Hotdogs, I decided to give them a try. Kong Dog offers you five different Dogs (Beef, Chicken, Plant Based, etc.) and 10 different “coatings”. I elected to go with the Potato Kong Dog and the sweet Asian chili sauce on the side.
The Hotdog is fresh and cooked to order, with the Potato corndog coating very crispy. The entire offering was tasty and I was happy I got the sauce on the side. These Kong Dogs are humongous and it could have been a task not to get messy otherwise.
The restaurant is tastefully furnished and there’s a fireplace and a “grotto” area where you can sit, enjoy a Kong Dog and relax!

Came by Kong Dog in Rolling Meadows and overall it was a mixed experience. The atmosphere inside was cool and pretty nice, definitely a spot with a fun vibe. The staff wasn’t rude at all. They didn’t give me any issues but they also weren’t overly welcoming. They mostly seemed busy and kept to themselves, so the interaction felt pretty neutral.
The big downside here was the cleanliness. The floors were sticky, and the bathroom was honestly really disgusting. It gave off the same kind of vibe you’d expect at a rundown Burger King or McDonald’s in the hood, which definitely brought the experience down.
On the positive side, the food itself was great. Prices are very fair, portions are solid, and everything came out within about 10 minutes. Me and my homie tried 4 different Kong Dogs along with 2 lattes, and both of us left full and satisfied. They also have public WiFi, which is a nice extra touch.
If they could improve their cleanliness, this place would be an easy go to because the food is tasty and well priced. I would bring a date here if it was cleaner but with as dirty as it is next time I’d only order out and not dine in again.

Over rated. Do not go!! Worst corn dog ever! Batter was not cooked thru, couldn’t even eat it. Plus the quality of the hotdog is crap! Disgusting – Oscar Meyer is better. I don’t they’ve ever cleaned the floor – it is SO STICKY!

First time here they have a good menue. I tried the tapioca Boba with whole milk it was amazing. The staff was friendly. And a very clean atmosphere good place to have a dog and Boba tea with friends definitely recommend this place

Average. As soon as we came in the floors were extremely sticky all around. There were only two staff present. Not busy, the tables were dirty with crumbs all over. The bathroom was disgusting. The cooking area was dirty, unkept. the oil looked really old. It made my experience unappetizing. Staff were ok, But for how In busy they were, the place should’ve been better taken cared of.

I visited Kong Dog Rolling Meadows today and had the best meal!! Hot Cheeto dog, Dorito dog, and potato, they were so fresh! We also tried the ramen and Tteokbokki – they were so delicious! We will be back very soon!! Staff was so sweet and food didn’t take too long to make!

Kong Dog in Arlington Heights/Rolling Meadows has such a chill atmosphere! The owner Joe was so warm and inviting and offered me a sample of their new fried gyoza union entering.
The place is super chill, has a “vibe”, and has all the modern features a cafe could ask for. Out of all the bubble tea places in Arlington Heights, I’d say this beats out all of them. Their menu is pretty good with the different variations of corn dogs and fried chicken. The gyoza sample was so good that I actually went back and ordered a serving. The food is made to order from scratch. So the corn dog was hot and fried and the gyoza was right out the fryer. They have bubble tea as well, but not many variations, unlike other bubble tea places where you can get overwhelmed.
You can order at the counter or at the self service screen.
Overall, this place is awesome. The food is good and the prices are right on ar with other bubble tea cafes with lesser quality. Highly recommend and will return!

I had mine with half cheese.. fresh cheese.. it was great. The hot Cheeto with their signature spicy mayo.
My son enjoyed the potato dog, all beef.
Definitely going back to try the other options but will take it to go.
