I called the store to discuss and order a bulk quantity of halibut and I was deeply disappointed. I asked some questions of the girl that answered the phone and she was so rude, I had to ask to speak to someone else. The man that took my transferred call identified himself as MANAGER Eric. My questions were about the best “cut” (if we were speaking beef) of the fish etc. A year or two ago, I purchased halibut (at Super Duper in Blandon) in bulk and was advised of the differences, but did not remember what they were. Since we were pleased with the previous purchase, I wanted to ensure we were purchasing the same thing. Eric would not answer my question, he kept talking about the size of the fish. He reiterated a few times, “how would I be preparing this” (as if this makes a difference when buying bulk) He didn’t seem to understand my questions, nor was he willing to explain Halibut. He kept saying instead of explaining anything, “I can have that here for you Friday”. I will not shop there again, nor would I recommend purchasing to anyone else. I’m searching an online direct purchase now. Shop local?? Support local business??? I think not!

I always look forward to visiting Super Duper. Everyone is helpful and courteous. Today I brought home both crab and the salmon cakes. ..Excellent! Looking forward to tasting the pork chops . Thick cut and will be yummy with my hubby’s balsamic glaze. Also delighted you stock the best bloody mary mix
in a bottle.

I’ve been here a few times for Crab legs, crab cakes and clams. The Crab legs are very good and so are there Crab Cakes, I don’t eat clams, so can’t really tell you about them. The only thing I don’t understand is when you purchase the Crab Legs( believe it’s the King Crab legs) why they don’t weight them before they freeze them? After you pick the bags of Crab Legs you’d like to purchase they weight them but, there is always chunks of ice in the bag so your getting charged for ice?? I realize there’s going to be ice around the crab legs but, there is also just chunks of ice in the bage besides.

Excellent, fresh seafood at very reasonable prices. Clean. Huge selection of nearly everything from meats and seafood to side dishes and seasonings. They even carry cooking vessels and utensils that you may need but don’t have. Worth the trip every time, even if what you want isn’t on sale.
