Skip this place entirely. The workers look confused every time I come here. Today both my corn dogs I ordered had raw dough inside. The place is also very dirty and has a bug problem. There were gnats on their spicy Mayo containers. Absolutely a waste of money I will not be coming back ever. The good reviews were from the previous store (mochinut), Mochi Lion is terrible and a disgrace to mochinut.

It was my first time going there and the service wasn’t the greatest, she didn’t go through my order or confirm anything, I had to assume that she was getting everything, then by the end she forgot the donuts and I had to call her from the back to remind her. I could let the bad service pass since maybe the girl was having a bad day, but the food was so much worse. One corn dog dough was raw, the other one had hairs in it, and what’s worse is one of the donut had egg shell in it. So gross. First and last time going for sure.

This was a quick visit and a quick order for me. My niece wanted a Korean style corn dog and we did not want to drive all the way to Tyler Mall-Riverside. I immediately went on Google and this spot popped up so away we went.
There are other businesses in this area, and it was a bit difficult to turn in due to someone hogging the driveway a bit. I won’t make this an issue as it’s not the fault of the business, just people not being considerate of those who also want to drive in.
Upon entering Mochi Lion, it’s small, wasn’t busy and very quiet. Because of this, we were able to place our order right away and before we knew it we were on our way out. My niece got what she wanted and had no complaints- even stating it tasted like the ones she gets at home which made me happy to know for future requests.
Because this was a trip for my niece, she said she would go back when she comes to visit us. Of course I have to drive her, she’s not driving age.

Cute little shop we were excited to try. Donuts were a different texture and each little bubble is more filling than a regular donut. The flavors though were all about the same. Whether we tried watermelon or kiwi they had a similar flavor profile.
We’ve had this type of corndog elsewhere so we were excited to try this one, but ended up throwing most of it away because the mozzarella cheese was quite sweet and a bit off-putting.

This was my first time trying mochi donuts and mochinut did not disappoint. The donuts were good and they change the flavors they offer every week which you can check out on their Instagram before heading over to see if there are any flavors that interest you. I also got 1 original half & half corn dog and 1 ramen sausage corn dog, both of which were great. They make your corn dog once you order them, I waited around 5-10 minutes to get my order of corndogs. The staff also provides good service and are friendly. I totally recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

The service was horrible, the girl doesn’t greet the customers when they come in. Just drops the donuts on the counter once she places them in the bag, she can’t answer questions about the drinks or what is in them. The boba was old, it was slimy. It’s my first and last time there.

I have had Mochi donuts before, and I will say that they are a great tasting donught. Once you try a mochi donut, you will go back for more. Mochinut also has a variety of drinks, and my favorite drink is the coffee boba milk tea that’s really smooth and tastes good. If you are hungry, then I encourage you to try the Korean Mochi Corn Dogs. I have tried the Potatoe and the Hot Cheetos They were the best, and I’m glad I tried them out.

Mariah was so great! She was working alone and there was a lady being extremely rude and extra. She handled herself very well! She recommended the ube boba milk tea and it was delicious! Very nice decor in there and music was a vibe.
