I finally dropped by after telling myself to do so for a while. I’m glad I did. It’s a charming little bakery with a lot of delicious options. I got three of their baked goods, but they had a big selection. The apricot pecan tart was especially decadent. I’d love to get some of their frozen pierogis next time. They make great stuff, and I would encourage everyone I know to give them a try.

Popped in to see what they offered last week and got a sample of the lemon coffee cake – delicious! Light and moist and tasty. Ordered a whole cinnamon swirl coffee cake and it was ready ahead of schedule and delicious as well. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Asparagus egg tarts were tasty too. Reasonable prices. We’ll be back.

Chicken Scratch Farm & Bakery is a little off the beaten path but oh so worth it! The staff are warm and friendly, the food is delicious, is all HOME MADE, FRESH, and ALL NATURAL.

Always great pastries, my favorite is cherry. The only thing I got that I didn’t like was the deviled eggs. Stick with the perogies and egg bake for my favorite savory foods.
