This place is has the best calzone, I think, I have ever eaten. The pizza was wonderful too. Clearly, they make their dough fresh daily and really take pride in high quality ingredients and the actual way the food is put together. I’m so sad because I live in Austin, Texas and there is no pizza here that even comes close to Mia. I’ll dream about those calzones till I’m in Pittsburgh again!

Decent pizza, nothing special or worth going out of your way for. This is the sort of place you’d eat at if it was late at night and you wanted cheap greasy food. I tried the cheese calzone in a small size, and it was served with some tomato sauce on the side.
The calzone was alright. It’s edible. The sauce was the first drawback for me. It came in a relatively small container. Tasted completely canned; no chopped tomatoes, herbs, or anything to make it pop. The sauce was also stone cold when I received it, further making me think it came from a can.
The calzone itself came in a decent portion. But, for $16, I expected a lot more than this. Was it filled with cheese? Yes, it was, and that’s definitely a plus. It was also not too bready or soggy, and had a nice buttery topping. But, parts of the dough were a little raw. The cheese calzone comes with Ricotta, feta, Parmesan, provolone, mozzarella, and potentially cheddar. It was this orange cheese which I thought was the cheddar, although cheddar isn’t listed as an included cheese. Really strange flavor that doesn’t work in a calzone. There’s also not enough ricotta in my opinion.
All in all, definitely not the best in the area but some decent pizza.

Never answered the phone. As of right now the order is 45 minutes late after the delivery’s ETA was pushed back 15 minutes initially. If there is no way to track the order, maybe answer the phone? Or don’t offer delivery if there will not be a delivery taking place. This is insane.

Zero stars, really. Ordered delivery and we got a call within minutes from a different number claiming to be the delivery person. It seemed to be way too fast and no one was at our address as claimed. No response to follow up calls to the mystery number nor the main business line. Seems like a scam.

UPDATE: Restaurant reply noted. They had the chance to make things right three times when the order was placed. The employee was combative when advised of what had happened and denied everything. They deliberately chose not to make things right.
Saturday, May 17th: I ordered two grilled chicken salads for my myself and a guest. We found hair in the bottom of our food. I called the restaurant, they sent one replacement with no dressing, and chicken and fries that were cold. It was definitely not fresh.
I called the restaurant back, they were to send the delivery driver back to pick up all of the salads and issue a refund, as at this point I would not be comfortable consuming any replacement they send. The driver never showed up.
I used to order from here pretty regularly. Needless to say, today was my last order. Food costs too much to have to throw three whole salads in the trash. This place is a health hazard.

I’ve been ordering from MiA pizza religiously for years- their delivery is hands down the fastest even on busy nights- Bloomfield is not where I order pizza- it’s Mia pizza! I love the Supreme Italian Hoagie. As a food service industry worker I get off late and I know I can enjoy my meal and watch a good show in a great amount of time after work just to do it all over again. I order their food weekly and they kill it- ignore the other reviews that’s just people wanting something free! Thank you to everyone at Mia pizza you’ve been my goto for 4 years and never dropped the ball!

This is a steak hoagie! They should be ashamed this is NOT a steak hoagie! The meat is dry and thin it looks like a steak-um and tastes like fake gyro meat. Worst I’ve ever had! I only gave two stars because the pizza was eatable.
