I’m so in love with their salmon roll! Everything was absolutely delicious and it exceeded our expectations. The guy who assisted us was incredibly nice even though we came late at night, he still welcomed us with a big, warm smile. The Lyla Salmon Roll with cream cheese is on fire! It’s insanely good, and you’ll be shocked at how big each roll is.
It was our first time at this restaurant, and the experience honestly made it feel so special. The ambience was cozy, the service was amazing, and the food quality was unforgettable. This is now officially my favorite spot truly the best sushi I’ve ever tasted.

We fell in love to this place like we found another go-to sushi bar.. the ambience, the vibes is just really warm.. food is great too.. though the table seating is limited to few people only about 30-40 people? the space is quite small and compact for standard restaurant size but honestly it is just fine as it is.. like japanese restaurants.. they have open-kitchen too so you’ll see how the chefs prepare your food and it’s just nice hearing local languages being spoken knowing that the staff are knowledgeable enough for the cuisine they’re offering..

This place is a must go if you like a good sushi. Size of the portion is large and super tasty. We ordered the larger platter and it was delicious mix of sushis and sashimis all made by order. Got me as a customer! Will be back again.

Hidden sushi restaurant with amazing food. Been here a few times and attempted several different dishes, all were delicious. Staff is friendly and food arrives quickly. Highly recommend as a variety of dishes and reasonably priced.

The restaurant was so cold inside that it felt like eating outdoors. The ramen noodles were undercooked and clumped together. The karaage I had first was soft and tasty, so I had high hopes — but the sushi platter was really disappointing.
Honestly, it was the worst sushi I’ve had in Edmonton. The salmon had bones in almost every piece, and the tuna was tough and chewy, like it still had sinew in it. Overall, the quality didn’t match the price at all.

I really enjoyed my lunch here. It had really tasty sushi for not too bad of a price. I definitely recommend getting makis and the flaming salmon roll. They even added caviar!

Found this awesome Japanese restaurant on Google with good reviews so we decided to try it out as we were going to Windermere to try out this other place.
It was an excellent choice the food was really authentic and delicious. The staff was really nice and the service was good.
There was parking outside on a Saturday night and it is located in a little hidden strip mall on the south side. The restaurant is pretty small with very few tables but they do have a bar section.
We did call in and ask for a reservation but they didn’t take reservations and they said that they would have a table for us in 20 minutes if we came, but when we came in we were waiting at the bar for the next free table and another group of people came in and stole our table. The staff member told us that they had a reservation even though on the phone we were told they don’t do reservations. But this was the only negative part of the whole experience. I feel like they should have reservations available so you know what you’re getting yourself into with wait times especially if you have more people in your party. Especially when you’re driving from the West end of the city to come there.
We ordered a little bit of everything off the menu for two people to try and everything was delicious and we would definitely be back. I highly recommend this place everything is Super fresh! They even have hard to find fresh sea urchin which was very buttery smooth tasting!

Discovered this place last night while craving some Japanese food through Google and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. The staff provided great service. We ordered some prawn tempura, salmon sashimi, some a la carte items and their flaming salmon sushi roll. We enjoyed everything, especially the flaming salmon roll. Definitely recommend it to those craving Japanese food who don’t want to spend too much.
