The tri-tip was ok, the Mac and cheese less to my tastes, over baked, cold on the bottom. not worth the price or the wait.
WHAT I REALLY WANTED WAS A SALAD but after waiting inline for 10 minutes I was greeted with “our salads are taking 20 minutes” the opposite of fast. They shared that this was due to a large catering order. Which tells me that they don’t value their in store customer AND lacked the forethought to advise the line, that half their menu was on a significant delay.
After hearing so many reviews that indicate that they are unable to serve an order for more than one person in a timely fashion and each person has to wait an independent waiting time for their meal… and half the menu being a 20 min wait ✋. rethink your kitchen flow, people want the menu, obviously. or drop the fast from your marketing OR just staff your catering better.
I guess if you’re alone and don’t actually expect things fast, it’s great or place your order before you go–seems they value the outside order over the inside order. I guess you have to pick one.
a great idea that feels overly stylized.
(I advised the person next to me that I was taking a photo and wanted to insure their privacy)
My husband and brother have wheat allergies and it is easy for them to eat here. Cute place, honestly very nice to pay $15 for a very yummy meal than sit down for a long time at a traditional restaurant and pay $35 for something not as good.
The couches were a top pick for a ten year old and the staff was all so nice.
What I loved most is that they prepare their food without seed oils, which is a rare and refreshing find when eating out. The curry bowl fit perfectly into my macros (packed with clean protein, balanced carbs, and healthy fats) so it felt like a meal I could enjoy while still staying on track.
On top of that, the atmosphere was welcoming and made it a great spot to meet up with friends for lunch. The food tasted fresh, the portion was generous, and I left feeling both satisfied and energized.
Highly recommend Aubergine Kitchen Kitchen for anyone looking for delicious, health-conscious meals in a relaxed setting!
Only downside: not enough high chairs. But I got my toddlers to eat here, which earns them an extra star in my book. Parents will understand—that’s basically a miracle.
The service at the counter was something I’ve yet to experience in my 46 years of life. Who did we hire here? Walked up to the counter and said “hello”, and received no response back. The cashier just looked up at the ceiling, staring off into space. When she finally “joined” us she had pure attitude. ZERO and I mean zerooooooo customer service. Not the impression one hopes for as a first time customer. Please management let Kaya work elsewhere. There are plenty of people who need jobs out there and actually want to work. I would NEVER treat a customer like that. I’ve been in customer service myself for over 30 years and the service here is unacceptable! My daughter is a college student and she invited me for lunch and I feel awful that she paid for this garbage.
