Yume Sushi Bar is a great spot for sushi in Studio City. I visited with a friend and had a really enjoyable experience. The environment was fun and lively, and the sushi was really good and very fresh. Overall, it’s a solid place to grab sushi in Studio City, and I’d definitely come back.

Excellent in every aspect is extremely rare when it comes to restaurants. I must share with everyone that this sushi restaurant is absolutely the best in quality, taste, service, etc. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Sushi at this restaurant is exceptionally delicious, no other place like it! And I know sushi! I have to say Yume is actually one of the best if not the best! Phenomenal in every way! Seriously must try! But make sure you make reservations or you may not get a table. Reservations make your experience amazing from beginning to end. Staff is absolutely the nicest and most efficient, courteous people. Number ONE place for me!

delicious super fresh – the rock shrimp tempura tasted like it was dipped in multiple different batters, and the fish was all really good. I’ll be going back.

One of the best sushi spots in LA. The miso eggplant melts in your mouth and the crispy rice with spicy shrimp and spicy tuna is always on point. Pro move is half ponzu half soy and you have to get the kazami wasabi it’s next level. The citrus roll and yellowtail cilantro roll were standouts but the albacore belly and garlic albacore stole the show. Unreal fish clean flavors and absolutely worth it

We picked up an order we placed from their app. Wait was longer than expected, but it was Valentine’s Day on a Saturday night and the staff was working as quick as possible and kind and friendly. Food was excellent! Worth the wait. Can’t wait to come back again.

In Southern California, sushi restaurants are everywhere and unless you are dining at a place run by a celebrity chef it is hard for a restaurant to truly stand out. At that level, most people can no longer afford it. Yume Sushi Bar manages to be memorable while still being approachable.

We went there to celebrate our twins’ birthday and it was an excellent choice. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the seafood was fresh and flavorful. Prices are very reasonable compared to many other sushi restaurants in the area which makes Yume a solid option without sacrificing quality.

The setting is modern and welcoming with choices to sit at the bar, inside at tables, or outside. Food comes out fairly quickly which was appreciated with a larger group. This is not the place for a quiet intimate dinner as the vibe is lively and energetic.

The only downside was the temperature inside. It was so cold that nearly every customer looked bundled up as if it were winter. I am not sure if this is intentional or just overlooked but it was distracting.

Overall, Yume Sushi Bar delivers on what matters most: great sushi, fair prices, and friendly service. It is an excellent choice for celebrations or for anyone wanting quality sushi without breaking the bank.

Yume sushi bar is my favorite sushi in the whole world. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. The rolls are phenomenal. There are lots of yummy appetizers as well as cooked fish and vegetarian options. The restaurant has such a cool vibe. I love coming here with my family and also for date night.

Yume Sushi Bar is hands down the best sushi spot in Los Angeles! The fish is incredibly fresh, and every piece just melts in your mouth. The unique flavors are remarkable especially their special Yume sauce. Highly recommend the baked crab hand roll, octopus sashimi with yuzu, and yume roll. Although you can’t go wrong with any dish. And the hot dishes are equally amazing—especially all the kushiyaki. The servers are attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even better. If you’re a sushi lover, don’t miss this gem!

A low key, sushi dominant spot that keeps the focus exactly where it should be. Its clean, simple interior won’t distract you from what you’re really here for—the sushi. I grabbed a seat at the sushi bar to get up close with the fish… and the chefs.

The creamy rock shrimp tempura arrived crispy and golden—a solid, satisfying start, though not a standout by any stretch. But I wasn’t here for tempura; I was here for the sushi. The crispy rice spicy tuna topped with fresh avocado on top followed: a reliable favorite. The tuna was fresh, the avocado smooth, and the spicy sauce added a slight kick.

Now onto the sushi. I couldn’t resist ordering the seared salmon with truffle oil twice. The subtle smokiness meets the aroma of truffle in a bite. The albacore was another standout, so good I had to double up on that as well. The other sushi offerings were equally impressive. The halibut, kanpachi, yellowtail, toro—all impeccably fresh, with just the right amount of rice, sauce, and topping to let each fish shine. Every bite was balanced, clean, and delicate, as sushi should be.

The yuzu soda was bright, zesty and refreshing between bites, while the kuroushi black bull sake was smooth with a slight richness, a great pairing for the fish.

The service was fine—efficient and no-frills, just like the ambiance. If you’re after high-end decor or extravagant presentations, this isn’t your spot. But if you want quality sushi, prepared well and paired with thoughtful drinks, Yume has you covered.
