PHO and Bun bo hue was super nice! I really like the spicy beef noodle soup. Price was very reasonable and You can choose size of the meal, so it is good option. One sad part was the Shop was too dark and quiet… and summer rolls were too dried

I went on a Saturday for lunch and was the only customer there. I ordered the regular rare beef pho and the pork and prawn summer rolls.
The pho was pretty tasteless and had no depth in flavour. The summer rolls were on special, but there was also no flavour in the summer rolls, with nothing coming from the protein, only the lettuce. The dipping sauce was hoisin sauce with some dried shallots. Which, maybe the way Hoisin is on the table already
I don’t understand the high Google rating. If you are looking for a better pho, go across the road.

Really delicious and affordable! Nice lady behind the counter offered us cold water when we went to take the room temp ones. We tried the chicken pho and the mixed beef pho and both were great, they had strong meaty flavours. definitely coming back

This new place just open up a few weeks ago on Vivian Street opposite Briscoes and so we decided to give them a try, when we walked in it was quite funny because the lady there said they only have Pho, even though they have summer rolls on their menu it was not available, I guess it’s because they are just starting out. You can choose either $15 for regular or $18 for large and either rare, well done beef or combination. I got the regular rare beef version because I am not a huge fan of brisket meat and I suspected that’s what well done beef was.
The soup was very flavorful but clear and soothing at the same time, the noodles were not stuck together and the beef although slightly thick compared to the normal rare beef that you get, were tender. Everyone at the table were happy with their order, I would recommend this place, the only downside I think was the decor, it looked very industrial, concrete everywhere, I guess they just do pho and nothing else right?

The owner doesn’t speak very good English, but the pho is pretty good. She told me a good pho restaurant in Vietnam normally only serves pho. She is thinking to expand her menu. For the price of $18, I got a very decent size pho and lots of beef. The soup is so delicious. It is better than any pho I tasted in Wellington. I highly recommend this place.

Had the chicken pho and it was lovely! Super generous portions and great price ($15 for the regular size) great service too, from who I assume was the owner.

The pho was lovely and super authentic with great flavour. When you walk in the door you can smell the homemade beef broth cooking which smelled amazing. Definitely a great place for quick and easy lunch or dinner!

Definitely just more of a place for an authentic quick feed rather than a luxurious meal as the decor was quite basic but that’s how you know it’s good right!

Pho was ok – needed a little more seasoning for my tastebuds, but overall it was average/good. For the price point though, it should be a lot cheaper – the regular felt like a $10 meal hiked up to $15. Cheaper prices might also attract students.
Overall, the place was fairly tidy, but pretty tired-looking. Windows needed a bit of a wipe too. Not bad, but for that price there are better options.

Went in to try out this new place on Vivian Street. I ordered the large Chicken Pho for $18, this portion was very large, bigger than any other pho portions I have had in Wellington. We sat down at our table and the very helpful lady provided water and set the table as we waited for our pho. The restaurant is quite bare bones with not much atmosphere but this wasn’t a big deal for us as the service was excellent and the food was exactly what we were after. I definitely recommend giving this place a try, the portions are great, with reasonable prices and meaty pho.
