Such a lovely wine shop, I especially love their ethical stand on the business – you can see the source of the wine easily (and even pick from your choosing – eg I personally like to select wines which have been produced by female business owners) and their collection is very well selected and great quality – certainly not the major supermarket stuff but feels really unique. I shop here every time we go to the market.

I’d definitely gotten into a rut with buying the same grocery store wines over and over because all the choices can be so overwhelming. Since the St. Joe Wine Shoppe opened, buying wine is fun again! I’m on my 4th bottle recommended by Meredith, and every one has been delicious (and surprisingly reasonably priced)! Opening and sharing a bottle of wine should feel like a special occasion, and knowing the story behind the winery and what went into the wine helps make it so. I also love knowing I’m supporting female winemakers who practice organic, sustainable methods, and a woman-owned, local business. Definitely recommend!
