Delicious Breakfast, fast and friendly service!
The coffee was hot and strong and everything we got here was fresh and quick. It’s in a cool old log cabin that is supposedly haunted which added to the atmosphere.
The service was so great here. It was like having a cozy family breakfast. We will definitely be back and thanks for changing our minds about staying nearby again!

Great place! Absolutely love coming here after a day on Mt Hood. Good food, decently priced, and AMAZING service. Halibut fish n chips was so good, the fish is excellent quality. Server was so sweet the last time we went, have the kids extra hot chocolate and Oreos historical too, so really cool ambiance. Built in 1926 on the Barlow Trail, the first overland extension of the Oregon Trail. Family favorite, hope to come back for years

Giving 5 stars for everything has to meet a lot of criteria in my book, and this place has it all ! Quaint, old and cozy mountain cabin. Rustic charm. Although I didn’t feel any ghosts, the stories say they are here. Breakfast on a Wednesday morning was quiet and peaceful. Our server, Kristen , was super friendly and fast. Linda was cooking ( for the last 20+ years ) and my biscuits and gravy were as good as any I’ve ever had.. even in southeastern Kentucky. The 1/2 order was huge ! As per my request, the bacon was crisp and definitely delicious. My other half had a ham and cheese omelet and potatoes… He ate every last bite even though he said it had 15 eggs..lol
We’ll be back tomorrow for breakfast!

Want to dine in a historic log cabin built in 1926 just at the foot of Mount Hood? If so this is the place for you. While it may not seem fancy on the outside, you’ll be surprised by the warm log cabin feeling inside. Food was great and our server Alley was awesome. She listened to some of our stories and she had some good ones too. She really made us feel at home as we had been traveling a long time that day. And again great food. My wife had the fish and chips and I had the French Dip sandwich both were excellent!

I have to say that this place blew my mind. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I will definitely be back. I had the fish and chips, the wife had the baby back ribs. The Little one had the cheese burger and fries. First off, I have been a fan of fish and chips all my life, this place surprised me for how amazing the meal was. I highly recommend you trying this place. I will be back to try their breakfast. 9.4 out of 10.

It was ok. We stopped here on the way home after a day of hiking. We wanted a burger and fries and my boyfriend said the burger was pretty bad. I didn’t like the options for a burger so I got a wrap. Nothing to write home about. But this place was charming and would be fun with a group of friends sharing pitchers of beer and playing keno. Someday I’ll have friends. I’m giving it 4 stars for good measure but the food deserves 2.5-3.

Ate breakfast here and was a good ole old fashioned breakfast. Big portions and prepared well. Great atmosphere like walking back in time. Put this place on your “want to go there” list.

Went for the lore, stayed for the food.
the coffee here is GOOD. Like very good.
I ordered the eggs benedict and was not disappointed. 1 order is definitely enough for 2 people, the portions are so generous. I was surprised by the amount of ham on my plate, as I had not expected them to put that much on there.
I came in with a large group and the waitress was extremely accommodating, handling our 20 people with skill and kindness.
If I find myself on the mountain again, this would be in my top 5 places to stop for food.
