I tried the meatball panuozzo and I’m almost at a lost of words. You can tell it’s made with real ingredients. You can taste the freshness and the love in the food.
Rip’s is well well worth the price they ask and you will not be disappointed.
Initially ordering from the counter feels just right for the Strip. Staff was friendly and incredibly efficient. I also appreciated the simple menu pricing. If it says $5 for a half rotisserie chicken, you can walk in with $5 and walk out with half a chicken.
I ordered their equivalent of a “supreme” pizza. From the time I ordered to when they brought the pizza out felt incredibly fast! Their oven must be blazing. Yet, it was cooked just as I love a brick oven cooked pizza.
I was nursing one of those 28 beer 8 Fireball shot nights the afternoon I went, but my buddies had their in house beer and said it was great. According to them, they also grow a bunch of their own herbs and tomatoes during the season. Just gotta love that!
5/5 would (and will) go again.
(In no way am I endorsing binge drinking)
The menu is simple and doesn’t take your attention away from what this place is good at. Pizza and rotisserie chicken.
The pizzas are made fresh and by hand with the highest of ingredients. They even grow their own basil!
The chicken is perfectly cooked and seasoned. I’d recommend the spicy option!
My only complaint is that at night the white overhead lights are a bit harsh on the eyes, but that’s a minor deduction from an overall amazing experience.
Service was great too, the restaurant was a bit busy when I came in and I actually only saw two guys working (could’ve been more in the back), but they had our order ready in 15 minutes, everything was accurate and I gotta say again the food was so good. It’s very clear to me why they’re busy, this is an amazing local spot.
Also really liked the vibe in there, lots of cool artwork to admire in and outside of the store.
I’m a traveling man, and it makes me sad that I won’t have Rips around all the time If I lived here permanently, this would be my go-to for pizza (and chicken) night, screw Domino’s!
I ordered a custom pizza and was pleasantly surprised. The reviews for Rip’s are quite high so I went in expecting it to be quite good and it delivered at and above expectations.
The atmosphere is definitely laid back and causal, with an abundance of seating options.
The staff are super polite, and willing to answer any questions you have and help get you what you need if they’re missing anything.
The crust was perfectly cooked, with the right amount of rigidity to each slice, and a slight char in spots to the initial exterior.
The biggest surprise for me was the level of bell pepper present in the house made tomato sauce. I didn’t expect it, and it threw me initially but grew on me with each bite. Definitely not a traditional sauce, but a fantastic deviation to the norm.
