This review will be divided on two parts to adequately articulate my experience: food and service.
Food: I ordered their classic burger to get a feel of how they do things with regular fries. The burger was average but the fries were cold. I can’t justify only 1 star since the burger was adequate, so it gets 2 stars.
Service: this is where this restaurant really shines and not in a good way. We waited 52 minutes to receive our order and mind you this was on a Sunday afternoon with no other customers in sight. 1 star earned through and through.
With the mediocre atmosphere mixed in, the average comes out to 1.67 stars.
This place has potential, but the way it stands now I can’t justify returning, much less recommending it to anyone.

First time going to Smash Bros in Brownsville and WOW absolutely phenomenal! The burgers were so flavorful and incredibly juicy. I ordered the #3 Habanero (La Picosa) Burger and it had the perfect kick without overpowering the flavor.
The waffle fries were spectacular crispy, seasoned perfectly, and the perfect side. And their secret sauce? SO good. It’s the perfect dip for the fries and takes them to another level.
We also ordered the three sliders with each flavor burger, and every single one was delicious. It was such a great way to try different options, and none of them disappointed.
We’re already planning to go back for a second round! This is definitely going to be our number one burger spot. Highly recommend!

Great burgers, just took a while to taking the order.
The food took like 50 minutes plus, For some burgers.. its way too long
We got there at 7:30 and got it at 8:40 and they were closing already so they just gave it to me in a bag. It was not even full.
Also, ordered plain and dry twice and still got it with sauce.

A lot of these reviews state bad customer service, which I’ve never experienced myself? Ive been here twice, both days were fine, average. The employees I talked to were nice, our food was hot. I go around 3pm and no line or anything. Great burgers, love how they also toast the buns. They have specials which is awesome, $10 for a burger and fries of this quality is a steal.

If I could I would rate this place a 0! Service sucks, owner is horrible and not professional at all, me and my family went to eat there on Friday and the owner was arguing, yelling and insulting a lady and her daughter over a refund, he literally got there plates of food and threw the food all over the table, and proceeded with calling the cops. I’ve never seen an owner of any business act the way he did with these lady’s. Please don’t waste your time going there the owner sucks!

We got the Patty Melt with Texas toast and it was so tasty! One of the best burgers we’ve had in Brownsville, we will definitely be back again soon!
