A nice little place, homey feeling! Nice and CLEAN! We had the steak sandwich and Jäger schnitzel( comes with two massive pork cutlets that are breaded and smothered in a delicious garlic sauce with capers onions and mushrooms! Delicious potato skins full of bacon cheese and onion! Could not eat at all!…. The garlic toast is thick and cooked to perfection -not greasy! The steak sandwich was super tender, cooked to perfection… And the fries are super crispy and hot! 10/10… our waitress is fantastic! Super nice lady! WE WILL BE BACK! The schnitzel was around $24, the steak sandwich was $19.99. Friday they have their steak sandwiches on for $16.99 ..

I ordered a pound of dry ribs thru uber eats and I thought a pound would be bigger. (most restaurants are about double in size) the ribs tasted alright. Not top ten in the city, but not the worst I’ve had. My order with the dry ribs after tax was around 25 dollars. I just was hoping for a bit more than what I got. I also gravy which tastes alright.

We went last night and had a wonderful meal. Steak sandwich was incredible and I can’t believe I got it for $16.99. I also had the Saskatoon berry pie. Wow, just absolutely incredible. Lastly I thought the service was the best. Completely on par with any of the expensive restaurants here in town. We will certainly be going back!!!

Ordered Schnitzel & Gravy + Fries AND ‘large’ homemade Chicken Noodle Soup for 6PM pick-up. It was all ready & neatly packaged when I picked it up at 6PM – was still hot when got home and ate it. Large portions – all very delicious. The soup was the very best soup ever. Can’t wait to go back – will order exactly same food!! 5 Stars +++++++. Thanks Sherry.

Food was good! The dry ribs were really good! We were impressed that the Monte Cristo was not processed meats, and the club with fries was great too! We will try it again soon. The server was nice, did her job well, but she was either kinda shy, or just lacks any enthusiasm.

Excellent food and desserts with a variety on the menu. It was quiet when we were there which was actually really nice just listening to the music and chatting. We ended up with the owner as our server and she was very nice! Has a pool table and a bar area and restaurant area. We will definitely be going again!

Went for lunch here for the first time recently and loved everything about the experience! I’m honestly shocked I didn’t know about this gem up until this point! When I walked in, you could feel a coziness about the place immediately and the rustic characteristics of the restaurant are a beautiful touch. Spacious and well mapped out, clean and roomy, nicely decorated, soothing color scheme.
Our waitress Taylor, was great about giving us a run down of the cuisine and what the specials were throughout the days of the week as it was our first ever visit. She took our orders promptly and stayed well on top of my many drink refills which is greatly appreciated haha. Taylor was very sweet, professional, and helpful. All of the things that are tough to find in the service industry these days, so she is absolutely a keeper!
I ordered a beef dip which was fantastic! The beef was tender and the auju accompanied the sandwich perfectly. The fries were hot and crispy, and the gravy was spiced just right with a wonderful consistency! My mother who was with me had a Reuben sandwich and was quite pleased with her dining experience as well.
And I have to say that one of the most impressive things I noticed here is that most meals, if not all on the menu, were under $20. That is almost unheard of these days when you go out and as consumers I think we can all appreciate the fair pricing. Even the cost of sodas and a side of gravy are a steal! If that’s not enough reason for people to keep coming back I don’t know what to think!
The vlt’s were an exciting sight to see as well. It’s a nice touch on the bar side of the restaurant and I can see that drawing a crowd in as well.
I loved my experience here and I’m going to make sure to tell everyone I know to head over to enjoy a meal and drinks! I hope to see you guys thrive in excess as time goes on ❤️

Went with my parents this morning for their breakfast special, $12.99 from 9-11am weekday’s. If you haven’t tried it yet you definitely need to go. Great country food and aesthetic. Nice specials all week too, we definitely will be back to try more.
