This is absolutely the best chicken in the country. I have had fried chicken all over the place, east coast, west coast, and mid west. I have never had chicken this flavorful, the sides was just as good, legit red beans and rice. The staff was super nice. You could tell this is where the locals come, from the continueses line of people in and out. This is the best down home sole food cooking you’ll find anywhere. The prices was very reasonable, way cheaper than main stream chicken places.

The SIUE Baseball team stopped in for lunch on our way down to Louisiana and Cheryl and her staff did a phenomenal job in taking care of our 39 players/staff. The food was delicious and the service was top tier. Will definitely look to stop anytime we come through for a quality meal!

Awesome, simple awesome chicken. Fyi, Doordash users: Doordash will allow you to order delivery but in my experience there are no drivers in this area. So, order for pickup only and be sure to tell employees you are a Doordash order upon arrival.
