Grew up in Bakersfield always loved caesars when it was on Nile st. Then it moved to wilson rd. Always when I come home I always have to have my roast beef sandwich. Love this place and wished there was one in Washington State

Wanted to give this place a shot since you can’t really mess up an Italian sandwich shop right? Wrong, atmosphere was cool and inviting coming in; had an Italian deli feel about it, but it was just dirty. Old TV sitting on the floor, old pictures covered in dust, the floor around the counter was covered in grime. Ordered a hot chicken sandwich and thier special sandwich both of which were huge disappointments. Thier special came out on soggy bread and while I was waiting for the hot sandwich I heard one of them ask where the chicken was and the response was in the microwave… bought thier pasta salad to eat later and guess what also disappointing. Will not come back and do not recommend. Like Gordon Ramsey would have to show up and redo this place for me to come back.

I loved it there. My friend took me there & right away the folks were very good to us. He’d been there before. The sandwiches were good yes but the employees really made a day.. 5 stars i say. Come see for yourself.. You won’t be sorry.

Have been coming to this location for over 20 yrs. Came today and was sooo disappointed. We ordered 2 Romas with extra peppers and the marinated broccoli, tomatoes and onions.
Bread tasted old, sandwich had 3 slices of salami and 2 slices of meat folded. And had NO cheese and 4 peppers. I took the meat off ate that and tossed the bread. Their sandwiches use to be full of meat and fresh. The salad was blah no flavor at all ended up tossing that too.
You should leave full not the feeling of still hungry. So disappointed as the last time we came it was a tad better but pretty much the same. Sadly we Won’t be making the trip across town to come in the future. Honestly even if over on that side of town would choose elsewhere to eat.

We just picked up Venice (ham & cheese) sandwiches from Caesar’s ll Deli on Wilson and Stine. We have been going there for 40+ years. The sandwiches on seeded Pyrenees rolls are great and the employees are very nice. Their Spumoni is the best!

Top tier! I had a pastrami sandwich with everything, a pound of artichoke hearts, chips, and drinks. Very delicious, very satisfied, great staff, and good customer service. Highly recommend and will be going back again! Thank you Rosa and (oh) Sheila!

It was ok but I arrived in about 15 minutes before closing and I requested 2 Caesars Specials with sauce on the side and I did get sauce on the side but unfortunately it was also on the sandwiches too. I also ordered 2 deep put sandwiches and the deep pit was like mush. It was really disappointing. I ordered 3 different salads 2-3/4 lb and 1-1 lb but all the salads were 3/4 lb tubs. Because I was the last customer of the day I could not get this corrected even though I already paid.

Well I know there is another one out off of hageman both of course are delicious but I like to come to this one whenever I get on this side of town as it is the original and I have been coming here since I don’t know how long maybe 30 years lol
