Have been going here since the reopening in early 2026. This restaurant is great!! Attentive staff, wholesome food, and a great family atmosphere.
Their devils dare pizza and chicken sriracha pizza are both to die for. Luke has taken great care of my wife and I every time we stop in. I highly recommend this joint to anyone in the area.
Can’t wait to see this place continue to flourish, it’s well deserved!

Best gluten free pizza in Marin! The service is outstanding and the atmosphere is very inviting. My husband and I love the new manager. He is extremely welcoming, makes great conversation with every costumer, and is extremely detail oriented. We cannot wait to go back!

I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and was very disappointed. When I’ve order Caesar salads from Red Boy before, they were all crunchy romaine lettuce, house made croutons, a container of snowy cheese to sprinkle and awesome dressing. This salad was nothing like that. Cheap, boxed croutons, wimpy iceberg lettuce, a meager sprinkling of hard cheese pieces, and unpleasant dressing. The dressing was sharp; but not in a good way. I also miss being able to get salmon with the salad. I used to consider Red Boy’s Caesar the gold standard and recommend it to everyone. Now I can’t finish this salad and will never order it again

The waitress was nice…the pasta I ordered was well penne pasta that tasted like plain pasta. It said it was made with a white wine sauce and let me tell you it was definitely butter and garlic. Big chunks of fresh tomato…cold tomato. Just writing this to warn others who might think of wanting to try it…think again…don’t. On a side note the pizza might….I mean might be better…

We’ve eaten at Red Boy at least a dozen times because it’s near our house and easy. The pizza and service are always hit or miss. Sometimes the pizza is really good and other times is misses the mark. And I’m not sure why…we usually order the same pizza, the Red Boy Special. Maybe the quality of the ingredients changes. Tonight’s was okay, but the cheese tasted weird.
The employees are always friendly, but sometimes we have to wait a really long time for our order. As far as Novato goes, you can certainly find better pizza, but Red Boy has it’s moments.

Out of sheer hunger I thought I should order a Pie, and the Sourdough Crust sounded real good too!
I found the Caesar a little confusing. The pizza on the other hand left nothing to the imagination. It spent about 30 minutes in transport which never bodes well for pizza. Took one bite then fired up the oven. The dough is fairly hearty and took about 15+ minutes at 375 to cook through then a quick broil (optional) to finish. This pie was hella greasy, no sponging for me, just what I was looking for!
If you order a Pie and it shows up doughy toss it in the oven. I didn’t get it down until my 5th or 6th slice. But second half of the pizza was incredibly delicious! The sourdough crust lived up to my expectation! The sauce and toppings were uninspired! Not sure if I’ll ever eat here again but you can bet the oven will be preheated before the next delivery!

Red Boy Pizza and Restaurant. Is a place that specializes in Sourdough Pizza. The price point for a small pizza is anywhere between $12-25. Depending on the toppings for their named pizzas of you can order Make Your Own menu. They make other usual iltailan dishes too. Being the price is what it is is usual for this area (Marin County, CA).
The taste, I found that I can taste the Sourdough and everything on it. The taste was interesting as the interaction between the Sauce and the Pepperoni had a bit of a spicey bite. It was good. I also had the side house salad (Romain Lettuce, Shredded Mozzarella, Black Olives, Shredded Carrots, small crunch croutons) was a good and plentiful. With this take out- pick up do to COVID, I wonder what is would look like Pre-COVID?
I give a 4 star rating because it was okay. Filled me up and that is what matters.

Pizza was terrible. Didn’t properly fit inside the box, cheese was running all over the place, the dough isn’t good. And to top it off, a small 1-topping is $16. Extremely pricey for such bad quality. The inside is huge, with plenty of seating. This is the first pizza I have ever thrown out after 2 bites. Purely disappointed.
