It a decent little home town bar. Drinks aren’t priced to crazy and they always have good people work behind the bar. You cant go wrong with stopping to shoot a game of pool here and drinking a beer!

Hadn’t been here in years. Stopped in during WestFest. Not much has changed, comfortable crowd, cold beers and had some fun on the Shuffleboard and Pool Table.

Nice, cozy little bar. Bartender was nice. I liked the atmosphere and how small it was. Less wild than some of the others I’ve went to. Can’t really speak for drinks since I’m pretty new to it, but they seemed to have some good ones, I liked what I got. No complaints.

Went for St Patty’s day the biggest drinking day and they had 2 bartenders. Prices were good. Mixed drinks were bad due the the CO2 not set correctly on the sprite. Flat. Stools are all loose and the place is worn out and kind of dirty looking.

I was invited out to the bar by friends and spent the whole night laughing having drinks telling jokes and generally enjoying myself and making new friends. Everything was pretty alright until the owner of the bar Troy Borgmann sat down next to me kind of aggressively with his knees right up against mine, which I thought was strange as ive never met this man in my life. I tried to converse with the man who’d just sat as close as he possibly could to me on a patio table with multiple open seats who was staring at me and he responded with “don’t talk to me” to which I replied “if you don’t want me to talk to you why did you sit down next to me and stare at me” and he continued aggressively staring at me and my friends informed me he was Troy who owned this fine establishment. He told me he didn’t like my attitude and I said whats my attitude to which he responded you dont know who youre messing with. I wasn’t sure what I had done and I’m sure if you asked the patrons of the bar that evening I wasn’t doing anything to instigate issues or being wildly drunk and making a fool of myself. In fact I was minding my business telling jokes to new friends who were laughing with me as he sat down. I assume Troy disliked me because one of my friends at the bar was some ex girlfriend of his or something similar. Being a man who’s been in a handful of sketchy situations I know when someone’s about to try and provoke me to fight and with it being his bar I stood and said well this is your bar that’s what my friends just told me and if you have such an issue with me out of the blue I’m happy to leave. As I left one of the bartenders who I was hanging out with followed me out and apologized on Troy’s behalf and said he was being a word I won’t use on Google so my review doesn’t get taken down. I found out later that bartender was his son. When your own son recognizes that youre acting completely unhinged out of nowhere that should say something. I myself have two children and I would be ashamed and embarrassed to hear my own child have to say sorry for my behavior. If you don’t wanna be randomly targeted by the aggressive 50 something year old owner and have him try to provoke you into fist fighting him around back I wouldn’t recommend hanging out at Fogartys or Hail Mary’s which he also owns. I know I won’t be giving a dime of my money to any of his establishments. And I don’t appreciate being threatened and told things like I don’t know who I’m messing with. Well Troy, who am I messing with? Some aggressive 50 year old Cheviot dive bar owner who doesn’t like when other men talk to their ex? What an insanely embarrassing way to act as a fully grown man who touts himself online as some important member of the town of Cheviot.

Great little bar. It has a fun little patio area and a pool table. It can get crowded at times, but it is my favorite bar regardless. The bartenders are friendly and make good drinks.

A nice bar and environment. The inside can get cramped when trying to play pool or darts, but the outside area is amazing for warm summer nights

Was having a great time at first. But I’ll just say, If you’re not a regular or local, watch your back. The staff here are waaay too quick to jump to conclusions. It seems like they’re interested in aiding and supporting the local “druggies” whenever they have a problem with something. An employee actually threatened me with violence, which is apparently okay according to them.
Until someone stands up for themselves.

Basically, if you’re looking to get a drink, I highly recommend elsewhere.
