I moved here from NJ and had been looking for a Puerto Rican and Dominican food spot. Luckily I discovered this food truck just in time to celebrate Bad Bunny’s superbowl performance. Everything I ordered was delicious! I got the mofongo con carne frita, both chicken and beef empanadas, maduro, and arroz con gandules. I’ll definitely make this food truck my go-to for Puerto Rican and Dominican food.

11/19/2025 – Revisited Jibarito to reorder their pernil, sweet plantains, and their empanadas. Delicioso, as always!!
11/05/2025 – Returned to sample their platanos maduro, (sweet deep fried plantains), cheese empanada, and their roast pork with white rice, beans, and lettuce, and Spanish rice with beans (moro), with pernil, and lettuce. Delicious as always.
11/01/2025 – Revisited Jibarito Latin food truck to reorder their pernil. This time I sampled their chicken empanada and beef empanada. Delicioso!
10/11/2025 – Had to return to reorder the roast pork with yellow rice and beans, salad, and this time I tried their tostones. YUMMY!
09/20/2025 – This was my first time visiting Jibarito Latin Food with some friends and it was reminiscent of the food I had visiting the Caribbean islands, family, friends, and Caribbean restaurants in the east coast. I ordered their roast pork with yellow rice and beans, salad, and the mofongo. Everything was delicioso! There are only a handful of Puertorican and Dominican food trucks in Columbus, Ohio and Jibarito Latin food is the best; numero uno! Small area to sit in. Free parking adjacent to the food truck. Saludos to the owner; were from the same city in the east coast. You can call in your order (recommended). Enjoy!

I can’t describe the flavor or taste. Muy I feel in love with this cuisine. My first time trying and it was, and more than I expected. The food is delicious ( because I can still taste it), the service exactly how it should be. I felt right at home and my mom’s was sitting down at the table. This is golden and for it to be a mobile food truck is incredible. It don’t get better than this. You missing iut if you haven’t gone. Que sabor le da mi gente a la cocina. Todo amor. ❤️

Fantastic food at great prices. Pictures is the mofongo with grilled chicken. As well as a beef empanada. Everything was seasoned perfectly just like you would find on the island. The mofongo was the perfect temperature and had a nice garlic flavor to it. It was exactly what I’ve been looking for since leaving Puerto Rico after living there for a few months. Once you get your food there are tables to sit and eat outside with music playing. I will surely be back here!

Wonderful people. We came all the way from Tennessee to see them after a long day at legoland.
The food was well seasoned, as you would expect on the island. Portions were nice. The diversity of the dishes offered was on point. If you are in the area, this is a must stop.

Delicious food! Dominican/Puerto Rican cuisine. We loved every dish. It was a beautiful day so we Sat out under the canopy. Music, the sun, a breeze and delicious food! Must try…. And return because it great! So much favor and great amount of food for the price. And good music while you wait!

Our first time having a meal there and we were definitely not disappointed. My family is from Puerto Rico and this is all the foods my grandmother and mother prepared. It transported me back to my childhood and the wonderful memories of our family get togethers. I just about cried. The food is absolutely mouthwatering with generous portions. We’ll be going again very soon!
