Jose was very attentive and welcoming. He shared that they recently did a fresh remodel, and it made for a great spot to grab a late lunch and hold a work meeting. The food was excellent. I ordered the fajitas and they came with a generous spread of sides.
Everything was delicious. I will definitely be back.

Service was fast and efficient. Food was exceptional. We had chicken fajitas and wet tinga green burrito. Chicken, onions and peppers were cooked to perfection. On other occasions we’ve had different dishes with the same quality.

The food was good. Very casual atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The street corn appetizer was very good.
We went for my husband’s birthday and when they brought out the check, a dessert arrived with a big sparkler candle. It was surprising and perfect. Such a great touch to end the night.

This is the absolute best Mexican in the area! Authentic, flavorful, and affordable, give this place a try and you will keep coming back again. Kim the server is so sweet and attentive. Every time I come here I think of how it is a hidden gem because it is never too crowded and the food is 100x better than the more popular Mexican restaurant down the street! La Catrina is our go to and we are never disappointed with their food/service.

If you’re looking for a taste of real Mexico in South Jersey, La Catrina is an absolute must-visit! This place is a family-owned.
La Catrina offers authentic dishes from both Mexico City and Puebla, prepared with fresh ingredients. I particularly loved the Papas a la Katrina. The flavors were incredible!
The service was great.
Fantastic spot for a delicious and authentic Mexican meal, with a warm atmosphere and friendly service to match.

My husband and I moved from Long Beach, California where Mexican food is extremely authentic. Since moving to New Jersey, it has been tremendously difficult for us to find a Mexican restaurant that resembles any authentic Mexican food. We find that many Mexican restaurants in the area are bland or Americanized. Since we discovered La Catrina, we have been IN LOVE! Food is so delicious, representation is amazing, staff is very friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is family friendly and the food is good for kids as well! My 2 and 4 year old love coming here. We love coming here on the weekends and trying their new specials of the day, we have never been disappointed! We had lobster enchiladas and wet burritos as shown in the pictures and we were impressed. Feels good to have found a place that remind us of home.

La Catrina in Collingswood. Meaning, La Catrina is a central symbol of the Day of the Dead in Mexican culture, representing the cycle of life and death. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Decorations reminded me of the Grateful Dead. Loved it! Service was good and food was great Che k it out.

Service was great and food came quick, but overall I found the food at La Catrina to be very average. Wasn’t impressed with the carnitas quesadilla in particular, and didn’t love being charged for more chips. With that said, queso fundido was nice and the steak platter I got was good.
