Bivio is never hit or miss – it is always a HIT.
The food is truly fresh and flavorful and never disappoints.
The wait staff are amazing and of the old school mentality that service is key! How they memorize the daily changing specials is really amazing to me.
The daily soup is always home made fresh and changes daily.
Nick and Martha (the key people) are just over the top terrific in every way shape and form.
Live entertainment – summer outdoor tables and so much more.
Cannot say enough great things about this restaurant other than it is a gem and awesome place to go.

The food at Bivio is absolutely fantastic classic, comforting, and done right. We had clams, linguine, and chicken parm, and every dish was perfectly executed. The flavors were rich, traditional, and confident. Add in perfectly made Old Fashioneds, and it was a great meal from start to finish.
Bivio is an old-school Italian spot in the best way. This is a no-cheese-on-fish kind of place, unapologetically authentic and proud of it. The wine list and cocktails are classic, and the bar is simple with a cozy, Cheers-like vibe.
Service moves at a relaxed pace, so come ready to slow down, enjoy your drinks, and really settle into the experience. This isn’t a rush-in, rush-out restaurant—it’s a place to sit, eat well, and unwind.
We’ll definitely be back soon.

Easy to see right off of Jericho Turnpike servicing Dix Hills and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Moderately clean facilities. Outdoor dining is available. Our server Brenda was extremely courteous and friendly. This is not your typical Red Sauce Joint. Definitely an older crowd. Fish is the Star . Specials were very good. Many locals patronize this place. Everyone knows each other and conversations are taking place between the tables. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.

We were invited by another couple to try BiVio for their date night special. It was a great deal an appetizer, entree and desert each, including a bottle of wine for $70. That’s an amazing deal. The food was very good , calamari, clams, chicken parmigiana, sole oreganata along with Italian cheese cake and a cannoli. Everything was good and portions were good as I had two meals out of my dinner. The service was also great, they were very nice and personable. Will definitely go back.

An old-school-cool, traditional, Italian restaurant that has more than just pasta. Tables are well spaced apart, good music volume, and the place is very clean. The waiter was very conscientious and kind, and the food was delicious and well worth the price. Try the specials, they’re wonderful!
Note: we went at 3:30pm for early dinner, so the place had very little guests at this time. By the time we left, folks began coming in for happy hour and dinner time so you can tell it will get busy.

A beautiful Sunday spent in a separate part of this restaurant. Simple wedding day spent celebrating my son and my new daughter-in-laws special day. The food was very good and the service very accommodating.
Felt like the Sunday family gatherings of a day gone by. I tip my hat to the owners and their staff for making this special day a memorable one for not only the beautiful couple, but all that attended.

Another place you must visit for dinner.
This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.
Braised short ribs with risotto and gravy
When i finished the dish I wanted to hug the chef.
Don’t miss out on this place.

I have been enjoying and recommending BiVio Ristorante for a couple of years now. The service, the food and the atmosphere are all always excellent.
Today, I specifically want to let everyone know of a new dish that Martha recommended I try. I did and all I can say is WOW, is it GOOD.
Give BiVio a visit and order the new entree, Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Cherry Peppers and Artichoke Hearts. Once you taste it, it will become your favorite BiVio dinner just as it became mine.

The food was alright, thats the only good thing to say here. The the service has a long way to go. Went there on mother’s day, they obviously didn’t have enough help, it took over an hour from the time we sat to the time we ate. Holiday menu wasn’t advertised online, we couldn’t order from their regular menu. The burrata special was a joke, see for yourselves. Take mom anywhere else.

While the food is good and the wait staff work hard it is unfortunate I will not be returning here. The head lady in charge Martha was very rude to my family. After booking my party til 5pm she double booked and had another party starting at 5. Halfway through my bridal shower she tells us that we have to get out earlier! I was so stressed out rushing through my gifts and pictures. She came in the room only 2 times throughout the whole party and several times my family had to seek her out about things. Also my name was spelled wrong on both the menu and the cake!!! When it came time to finish up payments at the end, Martha made my mom and MIL stand there waiting for about 30 minutes. She was also rude to my balloon lady that day and my sister who called asking her a question about the party room. Hoping this helps others avoid a situation like this in future.
