The Good:
They’ve got legit Japanese chefs and a massive menu, so you’ve got tons of options. The staff is friendly and they don’t drag their feet getting your food out. Plus, the prices won’t break the bank for most things.
The Hamachi and Katsuo no Tataki were fresh wins, the Onion-Lever is a standout with fantastic texture, and that Akadashi Miso Soup with herbs and seaweed sounds like a real treat!
The Not-So-Good:
Watch out for some misses. The Soba soup apparently has a funky, sour thing going on. The Potato Salad is a letdown in the flavor department, and the fried oysters miss the mark on texture.
The Bottom Line:
Fumi’s a mixed bag. You can have a great meal here, but you’ve gotta be smart about what you order. Stick to the fresh fish, the Onion-Lever, and that special miso soup, and you’ll likely be happy. Venture off that path, and you might end up with something you regret. Choose wisely!

Cozy and home-y; feels like I was invited to someone’s house for dinner. Big menu. Fast and helpful service. Tasty food at very reasonable prices. Check hours, as they are only open for dimner hours. Will be back.

The menu is just a bunch of pictures in a photo album and they have their sushi menu.
I ordered katsu curry. Wasn’t my favorite curry, but it wasn’t bad either.

I saw mostly positive reviews and a few negative ones and I can say from my experience, the negative reviews are just crazy people who don’t get it. Food was great, service was great, felt like I was back in Japan.
Only demerit I can think of is that it was a tad expensive. I guess that’s my fault for eating so much food . Additionally, I asked for a whiskey highball and it was $15.50!!! I hope they used Yamazaki 18 year! Nomihodai in Japan is the same price. Enjoy highballs if you have deep pockets!

Some of the best sushi I’ve had! Super fresh and extremely delicious bite sized rolls. You know it’s authentic the second you step foot through the door. Staff is friendly and attentive. This is my second time here and will now become a regular.

We were running a little late and very hungry and they were so kind to take our order. Went above and beyond our expectations!
I really appreciated the little side salad and green tea with my meal, yakisoba was delicious and cooked to perfection. Very warm and friendly staff, the restaurant is bigger on the inside than it looks which is nice. I loved that I had a lot of vegetarian options to choose from as well.
Come here for authentic Japanese cuisine! We are looking forward to coming back and trying new things from the menu, lots of choices!

Very bad experience. We paid $70.00 for two meals and two California maki. Way too much money for what we got. The rolls are extremely thin. Not bad though. The Chicken teriyaki and my husband ordered Beef teriyaki. Both came with a salad and miso soup. The salad for both came on the same plate as the Chicken and Beef teriyaki. Not a fan of this. No salad dressing and the warm teriyaki sauce made the salad soggy. The meat for both meals were chewy and large pieces. No knife to cut it. The meat is served on large sprouts. That’s gross. I’ve always been given hot veggies with these meals. You can’t eat the meat with the rice because the pieces of meat are too large. Never going back. We were sat in the first dining room because we are American and I know this because a Japanese man came in and was told he would be seated with the Japanese customer’s. The waitress actually said that. “Rude”
