WOW – the remodel is absolutely fantastic. You would never know this used to be Grandson’s or China Buffet or Golden Corral. If you’ve come to love one of the other La Cosina locations, you’ll love this one just the same. I had the La Cocina Dinner and me wife had ACC, both were excellent. The service was awesome, the staff is extremely friendly, and our drinks were never empty. The bar area is huge plenty of booths and TV’s. We even got to see one of the robots in action, when it brought chips to our table. They crew sang happy birthday a number of times. We will definitely be back and if you’re in the area, you should give out this new location a try.

We love coming to La Cocina! The food is always great and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. Jossel has been our waiter for the past 3 years, and he always takes such good care of us. He’s the best, and one of the main reasons we keep coming back!

La Cocina Is an awesome place that me and my family like to go frequently. The food is exceptional and the staff is warm, friendly and pleasant. Our visits never disappoints and me and my family always have a wonderful time there .They go out of their way to make you feel like family . We went today and our waiter Jose even brought my grandson, a little light up toy. It made my grandson, very happy and touched us that he went out of his way to cheer my grandson up. We have been going for many years and will continue on.

We had a great experience at La Cocina. The food was very delicious and everything was well prepared. The service from Max was excellent — truly A+. He was very attentive and took great care of us. We were seated quickly and the whole experience was very pleasant. We will definitely be coming back!

La Cocina is great for the whole family and Jossel is an excellent server!! I have 3 kids that are very picky and only eat certain foods made certain ways and Jossel actually remembers what they like and don’t like. Most places and servers get at least 1 order wrong by adding mayo, onion, cheese, etc. Jossel knows our order before we even order most times and always has our drinks ready before we order. He’s a great server and has an impeccable memory. When it comes to customer service, Jossel nails it every time!! Thank you for an amazing experience every time!! We’ll definitely continue to visit and definitely use Jossel every time because of his attention to detail with the orders of 3 hugely picky kids!!

My boyfriend and I eat at La Cocina Smithfield AT LEAST once a week, if not more. Although all of the staff is friendly, attentive and great at their jobs, Jossel is by far our favorite! He remembers our drink orders and would remember our food orders too if we didn’t constantly switch up what we eat. We’ve never had a bad meal here. Jossel always introduces us to something new if we’re unsure what exactly we want. He always follows up on conversations from previous visits and even gives a good Netflix show recommendation! Highly recommend visit their new location if you haven’t yet and ask if Jossel is working. You won’t be disappointed!
