Went there Sunday afternoon after hearing the hype and I was not disappointed. After living in Tucson, authentic Mexican food was a tough one around these parts but I’ll say they hit it right. Everything we ordered was delicious, great environment and friendly staff. My fiance left her purse (probably cause of the food-coma) and they managed to find her on FB and we retrieved it. Everyone here rocks, please give them a shot.

Amazing traditional authentic food. I ordered the Quesabirria with the consome and it was so good!!!! My husband ordered the Carne Asada burrito and Pazole. Good portions! The service was amazing! The waitress was very friendly. The chef came out and provided some recommendations and talked about their homemade foods! Great customer service. We will for sure be back soon!

This is the authentic Mexican cuisine you’ve been looking for. It was Mexican through and through. My Hispanic boyfriend was praising the food the rest of the night after that. We both got the Birra burrito. They are very huge. You’ll get your money’s worth. We got guac and a side of chips which is also highly recommended. The one warning is that the topping bar might be a little too spicy, so proceed with caution on some of them. The freshness and authenticity of it all makes it stand out from other Mexican restaurants you’ll find anywhere.

The best Authentic Mexican food in Port Angeles . I bought a chicken Gordita and a Steak Gordita a side of rice and the largest Jamaica they have . Everything was PERFECT! I love the salsa bar, everything was fresh and I plan to eat here as often as possible . The prices are absolutely fair for the portions and the quality . My food was fresh, cooked quickly and very well plated . I left very very happy and stuffed! This place is FANTASTIC! I had absolutely no problem parking, everything was clean and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. They even play SELENA which I absolutely LOVE!!!!

El Taco Loco served an amazing meal at my parents celebration of life. They took care of everything. They came in and fed 150 people and it was fast and efficient and everyone was happy and full!! We recommend this restaurant to all our friends and family.

I’ve dined at this new restaurant two times now and it is so delicious and very authentic Mexican food. This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in the Pacific Northwest. I moved here from California 3 years ago and it reminds me of the real thing. All the other restaurants in town are so so compared to El Taco Loco. I definitely recommend this place. The only thing I wish they would do was to add chips at the salsa bar and also make the menu in English instead of Spanish. I speak Spanish and I can understand it but I’ve seen several people go in there that can’t read the menu. Other than that come here and eat!

We came in close to close but it was a to go order so I don’t think it was too much of hassle though it did take a while. Now my favorite thing is carne asada fries. That’s usually what I get at every place i got. First off is the price. It was almost $24 for the fries and a glass bottle coke. Now they are the bigger bottles but the fries were a little pricey compared to what I’ve always paid. It is nearly $10 more than I have always paid. My friend covered me otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten it because of the price alone. First issue was the avocado mix. I’ve never had this kind of guacamole on carne asada fries. It’s got the chunky tomatoes and some type of onion. They also put pico as well as a verde salsa. Which once again isn’t a thing I’ve ever seen. They had the self serve station with their salsa and other such condiments. Didn’t really understand the reason salsa would be added when it’s not a thing that’s on it. The fries Im use to have this avocado type sauce stuff and the sour cream. The avocado wasn’t very fresh. The lime and salt wasn’t mixed very well. I did my best to pick around the onions and tomatoes. It was needing that so I had to try. In the photo you’ll see the sour cream which I thought was a bit excessive but turned out to not be very much actually. It was because of the fries. They are thicker than normal fries but not quite wedges. As you can expect the inside was soft and mushy. Not horrible tasting just not what I’m used to. The fries were a little dry and the cream that I thought was in abundance didn’t do much for them. I suspect that is why they drown them in the salsa verde. Mercifully I trusted but verified. Also one thing of note I didn’t see anyone over the age of prob23-25. No managers etc. Just looked like a bunch of kids. Nice enough but weird for a restaurant to
Be run by Teens. To each their own. In conclusion i most certainly will not be returning and advise if you’re going for the fries expect the unexpected. As for the rest of the stuff it was overpriced as well. Not going to waste my money trying out different things.

We were starving so we stopped in to get burritos at Taco Loco.

We went through the drive through, I ordered the Cali Burrito and my wife ordered the Bean and Cheese burrito with guacamole and sour cream.

I’ve never seen a burrito like this before. Lol. My wife’s burrito was a block of shredded cheese. Cold, un-melted, shredded cheese. (We added pic for proof).

Why wouldn’t you slap that burrito on the grill to at least melt the cheese? Oh well.

At the very bottom of the bean and cheese burrito, in the last couple bites, were two small teaspoons of beans.

My Cali burrito was alright, nothing special. Especially not for 17.99.

Maybe it was just an off day or they had a new cook training who didn’t know that you need to put beans, in a bean and cheese burrito.

We will continue the hunt for a good burrito.
