The owner is super involved with his operation. The food is absolutely amazing. No lard, he only uses beef tallow which makes for some delicious fries, biscuits, and gravy. The waffles are huge. The staff is super friendly. Just a perfect small town restaurant. Nicki was our server and she was just fantastic. Cannot recommend enough.

Cute spot quaint inside. Friendly and attentive staff. We ate breakfast and I had the grand platter with scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuit and grits. Tasty bacon, soft and delicious biscuit, eggs were ok but the grits were goopy and lacked taste. French toast was sweet and light.

Our waitress was Jackie, she covered our table well. Had to wait for fresh coffee but that was perfectly ok as I like fresh coffee. I had French toast, enough blueberries for one per bite, didn’t care for the cinnamon on it. We didn’t care for the hashbrowns, had a taste we didn’t care for but they took it off when they were made aware. The platter (sorry no pic) was pretty good.

The French toast and eggs were great. I wouldn’t recommend the biscuits and sausage gravy or the red or hot sausage. We didn’t feel too good after. And the sausage gravy didn’t have much flavor. Overall good experience just wish I would’ve ordered something else

OMG! Didn’t really know what to think by looking at the menu online, then to pull in the parking lot. See this little restaurant with the owner standing there holding the door open… Let’s just say the bar went down? But then as I get seated, and my sister tells me what a wonderful and respectful gentleman owns this restaurant and how good it is. I decide to just play it by ear. They had all kinds of specials on the boards outside, so I inquired about their chicken livers. I am here to tell you those were some of the best chicken livers I’ve ever had! Biscuits were so on point! Service outstanding! The owner actually comes over and chats with you. Not just one thumbs up for this restaurant ~10 thumbs up! The owner goes above and beyond-everything was cooked fresh, everything was crunchy if it was supposed to be. Homemade mashed potatoes as well! Very, very good I will be back for sure‼️‼️ Their menu is very wide -from breakfast to lunch and dinner. Something for everyone. ♀️

Excellent quality food (everything!). Bacon had a bit of a smoked flavor, cooked extra crispy as requested. Sausage biscuits and gravy also excellent. I added salt and pepper to my liking but nice not to have over salty food. Mexican scramble very fresh and tasty. The owner is proud to explain their ingredients and importance of freshness. Their food is the tell!! Try it!

Cute, clean, cozy restaurant with great food for a reasonable price. Had the Mexican scramble with (large) biscuit, hash browns, sausage patty, and gravy. Yummy! The owner stopped by and when I mentioned I hope to try the pancakes next time, he brought me (and my companion) a little pancake and little waffle to try. Light, fluffy, and delicious! I will be back!
