Loveeeeee. Great food and drinks. Helpful location if you’re doing something downtown. We went for dinner and drinks before seeing a comedy show around the corner. The service was slow, though. There were 5 customers inside when we went and we waited so long for our order to be taken. Then, our food took a while. It was really good, as were the drinks. I would definitely go back but we cut it close to the show time. Parking is rough around here so plan ahead.

My husband and I were in Baltimore for the Christmas market and wanted a real meal. We walked by Mount Everest and knew we had to try the food there! The restaurant is cozy, inviting and clean. We had the garlic naan, tandoori chicken, and the goat curry. Wow… what a nice meal it was!! Everything was well seasoned and the presentation was lovely!
Everyone that works there is very friendly.
It was our 1st time there and we will definitely be back!!

I had an amazing experience. The food tastes truly authentic – just like home. The staff were super friendly and checked on us several times to make sure everything was good. The place is clean, cozy, and the service is fast even during busy hours. My personal favorite dishes were chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. I highly recommend this place to go with family, friends and with loved ones to enjoy your favorite authentic Indian and Nepalese cuisines.

I was recommended this place by my close friend. I went there for a dinner with my family and i must say the employees were very friendly and sweet. The foods were also very delicious, especially the Mount Everest chana saag. It was very flavorful and looked very appetizing. And the ambience it was like cheery on top. Overall, I must thank my friend for recommending this restaurant.
Definitely recommend!!

Mount Everest Restaurant and Bar at Inner Harbor is absolutely fantastic! The food is fresh, flavorful, and truly captures authentic Nepali taste—especially the NAAN, Mt. Chicken tikka Masala, MoMO, Bhuteko Kauli, Chicken Chilly and other traditional dishes. The atmosphere is clean, cozy, and perfect for both family and friends. Mr. Sajal Shrestha and all staff are friendly, welcoming, and provide excellent service.

A must-visit spot at Inner Harbor. Highly recommended! ✨

I am genuinely disappointed by my experience at Mount Everest Restaurant and Bar in the Inner Harbor.

My wife, our 6-year-old daughter, and I stopped in for an early dinner after spending several hours at the National Aquarium. The restaurant’s proximity (under five minutes away) and strong online rating (~4.6) made it an easy choice. We were also influenced by a promotion advertised on their website: buy two entrées, get the third (chicken or vegetarian) free.

When we tried to order under that promotion, our server told us they had not run it in “many years.” If that is the case, it should not be listed online. It factored into our decision to dine there, and advertising an outdated special is misleading.

That said, my negative review is not based primarily—or even secondarily—on the inaccurate promotion. Restaurants ultimately succeed or fail on taste and execution, and that is where this meal fell well short.

We ordered the Lamb Junelly, the Kabob Platter, and two garlic naans. The Lamb Junelly, which I requested at a medium spice level, leaned noticeably sweet. It contained surprisingly little lamb, and while I did not find it overly chewy, my wife did. Overall, it lacked depth and balance.

The bigger letdown was the Kabob Platter (chicken tikka, lamb seekh kabob, shrimp, and chicken tandoori). All three of us agreed the chicken tikka was dry and nearly flavorless. That says something, given how hungry we were after skipping lunch. My wife captured it best: “I was so looking forward to the Kabob Platter, and I was so disappointed by it. I left the restaurant almost sad.” I felt much the same.

Service was acceptable but inattentive. Our server never checked in during the meal. Had he done so, I likely would have asked for lemon slices to brighten the kabobs. When we left—around 6:00 p.m. on a Thursday—we were the only guests in the restaurant, yet there was no acknowledgment from our server or the staff members sitting nearby. That absence of basic hospitality stood out.

This is not an inexpensive place (garlic naan costs $7 apiece). At those prices, execution and attentiveness matter. On this visit, both fell short.

Among the many restaurants I have visited, this would land in my bottom quartile. I would not return, and I would not recommend it—especially for the à la carte dinner service.

This has become my go-to place for Indian takeout. I usually get the Saag Paneer, which I’ve developed a bit of an addiction to. The prices are perhaps 10% more than comparable places, but the portions are very large and often enough for two meals (despite my large appetite). Inside the ambience is nothing special, so it’s not where I’d take someone if I was going for an intimate mood, but it’s definitely a place to take friends who appreciate good food. When I do takeout I just call ahead, and it’s generally ready in about 15 minutes.

I don’t feel qualified to comment on its authenticity, though I can note that this place was recommended to me by a Nepalese person. I do feel qualified to note that the food is very, very, tasty.

I had an amazing experience at Mount Everest Restaurant in the Inner Harbour! The moment I walked in, the warm aromas of spices and the cozy, colourful Nepali décor made the place feel welcoming. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and the momo dumplings, and both were absolutely outstanding. The butter chicken was rich and creamy with just the right level of spice, and the momos were perfectly steamed with a flavourful, well-seasoned filling and it is very famous and special nepalese cuisine.
The restaurant’s location right by the harbour makes it even better—you can enjoy your meal while looking out at the water and the boats drifting by. It’s such a relaxing atmosphere, especially at sunset. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help with menu suggestions.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the Inner Harbour and craving delicious Nepali and Indian cuisine!
