This was the first time at this location, as I was staying at the Best Western, they highly recommended this restaurant.
I’m glad they did as they even have a back door pointed at the Best Western for back door guest haha. I came in and noticed all the pretty paintings and I believe someone said the owner painted them. It’s bright, well lit, and just a fun little place.
I like the fact that the kitchen is exposed for all to see and now you know exactly what the kitchen looks like and what’s going on behind the scenes which is a good thing nowadays.
The owner was there cooking and also served my drinks. I ordered the trio fajitas, they came out nice and hot and not on a sizzling plate that burns your onions up. Everything was tender and tasty and the service was impeccable.
Highly recommend trying this place out if you haven’t been, if you live in the area definitely will be a local favorite, if you’re a traveler through the area plenty of parking, and if you’re staying in the hotel you can just walk right on in the back door.

Fridas tacos was delish!!! The birria is on point. The homemade corn tortillas hit the spot! Definitely recommend this place for some good authentic Mexican food. The guava smash was so good not strong though but taste delish. I was to hungry and didn’t get pics of the food lol

Excellent food, beverages, and excellent service. Bill was excellent he stayed on top of the service was friendly and attentive. He constantly asked if we needed anything, hard to find this type of service. Vitoria also helped out and was also very friendly and attentive. After we finished we decided to stay for one more drink at the bar. We received the same treatment. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely one of the worst Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. Servers were just standing around talking amongst themselves ignoring us most of the time. We ordered 3 sweet teas & a water, the water can in a shot glass type cup. The food was ridiculous priced for the quality. We did NOT eat over half the food we ordered. The waitress never even questioned why no one ate their food. Very disappointing! I understand this is the “soft opening” but this place needs serious help if it is going to be successful.
P.S. we were a table of 4 & the only table in the restaurant for the majority of our visit. Absolutely no excuse for poor service

We had three of us that decided to dine in at this newer restaurant in the area. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and clean. The service was fantastic and the food was too. Two of us got the Taco Plate with chicken and beef. They missed my rice when it came out but brought it when reminded. They did mention that it was a soft opening so I didn’t really mind. Our third dinner had the La Patrona Tacos and said they were awesome. Wait time wasn’t bad for a Sunday night. Decor is really cool and feels modern and authentic. Definitely will be back.

Fabulous TexMex! 5 stars from this San Antonio girl. Very clean, fast service, friendly staff, and great food. This one is new and another location from the original one in Dallas. Prices were very reasonable. Good margaritas. Inside the restaurant is so sound proof that we couldn’t hear the live DJ right outside unless the door was opened. Will definitely eat here again. Short drive from the RV park at Winstar. No need to get out on the highway- can drive the back roads to get there.
