Brown Dairy A.K.A. Valpo Velvet Ice Cream Parlor where she enjoyed a Mangonada blended drink (mango juice, mango sherbet, tajin and chamoy) a spicy, hot, sour, tangy creation. The shop aroma was saturated with fresh waffle cones so I landed a triple scoop, cappuccino chip, espresso oreo, and peanut butter chocolate.
Oh, they also feature selections from Desserts by Juliette of Kouts!

An intimate Willy Wonka-like space serving old fashion ice cream, floats, shakes and malts. We ordered the blueberry cheesecake, mango sorbet and one of their gigantic ice cream bowl and sat outside. There is an outdoor patio and also 2 benches by the parking lot. The parking lot is a shared lot, easy to navigate but be on a lookout, as there are young children walking around with family. Cool spot !

A Valparaiso original, hence the name. Haha! This Ice Cream is the best no matter what kind You get. I have been eating this brand since I was a kid. The Wife and I just went to get some shakes over the fourth of July weekend and I saw that They had Dreamsicle flavor, My absolute favorite! I highly recommend that everyone should try this place and see what You think. Mmmmmmmm!

Drove from Chicago to stock up on their vanilla bean half gallons. The gals packed up several to go for me in dry ice for my trip home. The dry ice was actually more expensive than the ice cream, but everything was well wrapped and I am able to enjoy at home for the next few months. Totally worth the trip!

Have been here a few time’s over the year’s. They have great ice cream, frozen yogurt, & their sandwiches are also pretty good! A nice little shop to try out especially if you’re in the mood for some yummy ice cream. They even have pints, & quarts available to purchase & take home. OH, they aslo have Frozen chocolate covered bananas available to purchase for at home!! Plus they have lots of variety in the drink department.

Love the ice cream but we will only buy from the store now. You should hire some competent and respectful employees, or atleast over see the teens you have working. We waited for a while as the previous order was made, then when it came our time to order we were skipped over. When we said something we were treated like the jerks. Not even a simple apology or anything, juat attitude from both the employee and the other customer.
