10/10 for interior design. Magnificent decoration! Restaurant looks a bit hidden and low profile from the outside, but inside is definitely Impressive! We ordered almost 10 dishes, for 7 people, every dish was great. Delicious and unique. Peking duck, the beef, shrimps+lychee, and fish are great. However, Peking Duck and fish fishes were quite pricey. It’s recommended to pre-order Peking duck in advance. Service was great.

Party of 2 went for a celebratory lunch on a Friday in September. We had made a reservation via phone call a day in advance, and they had asked us to be ready for the duck carving performance to begin at 12:15pm. The flame show lasts only 5-10 seconds, so be ready with your phones if you want a nice photo/video. The duck itself was cooked to perfection, with the staff separating it into crispy skin, and a couple different levels of crispness for the interior meat for us, and the presentation is also very nice. We went through 3 bowls of pita plus a couple of cocktails. They provide enough hot sauce with nuts, hoisin sauce, sugar, cucumber, pear, scallions, and were always around asking if we needed any extra. Total before tips came to around 200$. The interior decor of the restaurant is really nice, and I also quite liked the architecture of the plaza in general. Easy to find a parking spot although the area in general was crowded.

We had our Father’s Day lunch here after a glowing recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. We were here for the Peking duck but the other dishes impressed as well. Service was friendly and the ambiance was classy and comfortable. Will return for sure!

We recently dined at this restaurant and wanted to share our experience. Unfortunately, we felt the overall value did not meet our expectations. The lamb chops did not seem very fresh, and the texture of the beef tongue was softer than we prefer. The $28 juice appeared to be poured from a large container, which was surprising given the price. We were also served tea, but it was unclear how to get a refill, and we ended up refilling it ourselves.
We hope the restaurant can improve these details, as they could make a big difference in the overall dining experience.

We took our mom here to celebrate her bday lunch. We want to experience high end quality Chinese Food. Nice atmosphere, cozy ambiance, but the price is quite high. The Wagyu Fried Rice portion kinda small for $68. If ordered extra condiments for the roasted duck after finished the one round that came with it each cost $5 for slice radish, cucumber and scallions. And the condiments we ordered the portion came out was smaller and we paid extra $15 for that condiments The Roasted Duck included that condiments and the wraps is already $148 for 1 duck. Food tasted good don’t get me wrong but the price is a little high compare to the one in Irvine with higher rent. It was an experience though. Mapo Tofu with Wagyu beef is $32 added white rice is $4.95 small bowl. If u want order white rice to eat with Mapo Togu. Wagyu Fried Rice is $68 portion is small as well. Need 2 orders to serve 4 but we had 5 but it was fine with 5 people. Picture looks big because I did close up pic. Just come try out and be your own judge.

Food: the duck is exceptional good, very close to peking duck in China. But this is the only item that is good. Too bad they limit their best dish to one per table. All the other dishes are mediocre at best. The taste is plain.
Price: expensive for medium service. The restaurant is no-where near fine dining service yet they’re charging you rate above fine dining service.
Atmosphere: nice decoration, old chinese style. But not a kids friendly restaurants as there are many loose object and kids don’t sit still.
Value: overall bad value.

The interior design is impressive, giving the feeling of dining inside a small museum, and the ambience is definitely noteworthy. The service is attentive, although the server had a naturally loud voice that didn’t quite match the refined atmosphere. It’s not his fault—it’s just the way he speaks.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, not limited to Shaanxi cuisine. However, be aware that this isn’t your typical Panda Express with generous portions that fill your box. If you’re dining with more than three people, you’ll need to be quick with your chopsticks before others finish the food, as the portions are not very large.
I recommend the salad—it’s excellent. The pickled fish in broth is also quite good. That said, the prices are steep, and you’re primarily paying a premium for the ambience.

I had a light lunch with a friend at Chang ‘an, the week prior, pretty good. So we went last night for a birthday celebration – very disappointing! Our party of four resisted all the appetizers. Udon peanut butter cold noodles, cilantro onion salad etc. But worst of all was their signature flaming duck. We got the whole duck and there was very little meat. The portion of the duck they smoked was awful. Finally the wonton soup – skip it! $500 later/4 people!!!! Ambiance is gorgeous, staff was quite attentive. Food was an extreme disappointment.

So glad we found this place in town although we are not living in the area. Besides the roasted duck , there are a lot of good options from the menu. As a classy reservation only restaurant, all dishes are made from scratch with house recipes. Highly recommend the delicacy Sea Cucumber with Millet. Nice texture with house special stock, light seasoning, very healthy. We don’t see this very often in most Asian restaurants.
The crispy beef rolls were delicious. The filling was nice and the super crunchy wrap with a lot of roasted sesame seeds was the best part.
Stir fried wild Chilies and sliced beef was on the savory side with nice chili peppers kicks.
Service was very good and efficient.
Nice ambiance with perfect lighting and interior design.
