We dropped into Barefoot Sandwich Shoppe on a whim and are so glad we did. The variety on the menu is impressive—there’s something for everyone, whether you’re after a comforting classic or something a little more unique. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and clearly made with fresh ingredients. We decided to get the cheese steak sandwich, hot dogs, grilled cheese, a veggie wrap and each had a side of their signature crispy fries!
The food was so good, I didn’t even get a chance to snap a photo—I dove right in and couldn’t put my fork down. That alone says a lot.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and created a genuinely welcoming vibe. The atmosphere was laid-back but inviting, making it a perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a great meal.
We’re already looking forward to our next visit. This place is a gem!

I got the half portion of the Turkey Pesto and I really liked it. The seasoned fries are perfect, thin and crispy and homemade. The owner was very attentive and since it was our first time he took the time to explain
the menu with all the specials. The food was served fast. Next time I would like to try the soups.

It only took one visit to Barefoot’s Sandwich Shoppe two weeks ago to turn me into a regular. The food is incredibly delicious, and the girl who takes the orders is so sweet and always makes great recommendations. I honestly wish they were open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner because the food is that good—though my wallet is probably grateful they’re only open at lunchtime. I definitely recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed!

THE SEASONED FRIES ARE AMAZING, they are like crispy but also fluffy. Great quality sandwiches, soups are home made! The owner was suuuuper kind, id come here just for the service alone. But lucky us the food is also awesome!! I recommend the chicken pesto, chicken Philly, but if not available get BBQ one. Our teenagers loved the tomato soup and grilled cheese, “super cheesy not a rip off.” And the pimento cheese one was also awesome.

My husband and I passed through Elizabethtown decided to grab a bite to eat and stopped here. It’s a little gem the girls working the service are super nice and friendly patient with us as we look through the menu and decided on food which by the way was unreal. Very delicious. I would highly recommend you Stop it if you ever in this area. I had the turkey spinach Panini with fries and my husband had the Philly cheesesteak with fried okra. Both were absolutely delicious especially those thin fries. It’s a little pricey, but it truly is worth the money.

Nice local sandwich shop; I ordered the Chicken Pesto panini with the special that is half the sandwich, fries, and endless drink. Very good value for the price and its filling. chicken was very tender and Juicy and the fries were crispy and flavorful. Everything is made in house and it’s very fresh; Employees were very kind and I highly recommend giving it a try if you’re in town.
