I was told they had good taco salads. So I call in an order for a chicken taco salad. I get there I pay and I go to my vehicle to check it, behold it was definitely not a salad but instead nachos. I go back in an ask if this is correct because I ordered a taco salad and the man upfront proceeds to tell me that, that’s how they do their taco salads on top of nachos. Yeah they won’t have to worry about me anymore. Highly disappointed, money wasted

three words- CHICKEN CHEESE CRISP. Dear goodness is it awesome but eat it immediately! It gets too soggy on a trip home and the best part is the crispy fried flour tortilla edges and it comes in a pizza box, so satisfying. Also, they have a Pronto burger that is literally the Mexican sloppy Joe! It’s buns with all the hamburger toppings and pilled with a fat scoop of taco ground beef. It’s pretty dang good but eat it hot too as it doesn’t hold well it’s so juicy. Bonus, it’s less than $4. The tostadas which are vegetarian are about $1.80 so I appreciate that. If you eat inside there’s a really good salsa bar. The cheese reminds me of the kind you get on ball park nachos, which they also serve. The chicken is truly the best and they only use breast meat. As far as Tex mex goes, it’s the bottom of the line but it really is satisfying in its own right. Again, the chicken crisp is the bomb and there’s no other like it in town.

Reasonably priced place with relatively boilerplate Mexican food. I don’t really think it’s very Tex-Mex at all and generally the flavors are pretty bland and the ingredients don’t taste Super Fresh but if you’re looking to get some Cal this is a place that’s not too expensive

Disappointed last few times I have been. Skimping all the products the drinks have been flat last few times we have been which is disappointing considering how much they cost. Ball park nachos barely had any beef or cheese dip. Tostada barely even had beans or cheese on it. And for some reason we spend well over 20 dollars and they can’t even give us enough sauce for the food we got. Probably not worth my time going back unless they change.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times in the past while on vacation in Hot Springs . The food and service are decent but the price of the food and up charge on every item if you pay by card is ridiculous . Our Order 1 taco , I tostada , I chicken cheese crisp , small cheese dip , small Dr Pepper $ 29.00 . Definitely not worth it . Will not go back .

I really enjoy Taco Pronto for what it is. Its not authentic mexican food. It’s a little tex-mex fast food restaurant. My favorite is the cheese crisp with meat. It’s a Hot Springs staple. The prices have gone up considerably over the last few years (just like everywhere else) but we still like to go on occasion. They always have a good selection of salsa and pico de gallo for free.

it literally took me 8 minutes to order one beef burrito, only cheese, lettuce, and onion (no cheese sauce, on top.) because the lady didn’t speak English and asked me several times when I said yes, she kept reading my order over and over again. when I got back to my hotel and opened up the burrito, there was cheese sauce on top of it, onions were on the side with beef, cheese, lettuce, and tomato on the burrito.
they should at least have somebody who is bilingual taking the orders or put up a sign, saying, Spanish speaking only.

This place is the bomb, it is so delicious, has been there forever kind of a staple in the Hot Springs Arkansas area. If you’re looking for Mexican food, go here, and get the cheese sauce it’s so delicious and worth the ride. Reasonable prices for all your favorite authentic Mexican dishes. Friendly and fast service! I wish I had some now!
